It looks like Oculus may be bringing back their Daily Deals to the Quest as well as the Rift. Today's deal is Espire 1, a stealth VR game for Quest It's cross buy with Rift, too.

Players assume the role of an Espire Agent - a drone operator of the future. From the safety of their "Espire Control Theatre" (sized to their Oculus Guardian Boundaries) they deploy the Espire Model 1 operative on assignments around the globe. The player then remote-operates Espire 1 from thousands of Kilometres away - the player's movement is translated 1:1 into that of Espire with less than 11ms of latency. The "Control Theatre" mechanic is not only a story component; it is used to minimize VR sickness whenever the player performs artificial movement.

C’mon oculus, learn what a sale is.

I think they're testing how much of a discount is needed to substantially increase sales. With this level of discount, it's just not enough for me. It'll get me to consider the game and have a look, but effectively you could choose between getting 5 games at full price that are the ones you want when you want or 6 games with this level of discount, but only if they happen to be in a sale.

Basically, it ends up being, if I really want it, I'll probably already have bought it, if not the discount is too small. I think for a closed platform like Oculus, 30% discount is probably the sweet spot to get people to impulse buy without discounts being so big that people only buy when in the sale.

The best sales tend to be when you can buy an Oculus key elsewhere. E.g. the Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes key from Humble bundle, but there haven't been many of them.

This is such a great game

Quest needs daily deals badly.

This is a very new title but it's not done too well sales wise due to it being released with a lot of issues. I believe that many of those issues have now been resolved.

Is it still buggy?

I've not noticed any major ones. Got any specifics?

I'm talking particularly for the quest.

I think when it launched it was pretty bad, buggy and the ai was meant to be terrible.

It looks like my kind of game, just don't know if it's worth the money if it's full of bugs
I refunded it due to bugs , will revisit in time once it’s polished

I've played through the first mission without hitting any obvious bugs, but then again I'm too busy being cut to pieces to look out for bugs. A stealthy secret agent I am not.
