No, I've had them for over a year. At first they seemed OK and had a disconnection every now and then, or after a few months when they needed charging they'd stop working but now they're extremely unreliable. I have "proper CCTV" and the Eufy cams were mostly for motion detection. Back door one is working OK and is about 4 times the distance from WiFi and homebase. I've tried resetting them a few times but they don't always work even after that. I know if I leave it on that error for a few days it will randomly start working again. Definitely would not recommend them. Screenshot below taken right now:
But most of these camera types have similar dramas..
Let's face it anyway.. 3 hooded geezers turn up with face masks and balaclavas on and take your moped.. you have footage of nothing and police do nothing anyway
Not great if the other 10% is when you’re robbed or it doesn’t catch important notifications.
But great if the 90% is when you are robbed or when it does catch important notifications.
I have 4 of these round the house. Take a bit of time to set them up, make sure you have Wi-Fi coverage and you’ll love them.
Except “hypothetically” if you were burgled and it didn’t detect it you wouldn’t be best pleased would you?
Unfortunately you compromise security and reliability for convenience with these.

If anyone wants to steal my mop head they can have it
Could you not return them ?
Unless the alternative is you can't afford or don't have the know how to get something with 99.9% reliability. In which case this is infinitely better than nothing.

Just be warned there is no warranty with this company when in 3 weeks the battery lasts for 1 hour
Mine is exactly the same. Unreliable. 1 also doesn't hold its charge anymore and it's less than 18months old.
Do yours work as people obviously seem to have problems...
Does anyone reccomend another one instead of eufy that doesnt have a subscription
I've bought 3 sets now and all work perfectly. 1 for my sister, 1 for my dad and finally a set for us. 18months from 1st set.
I genuinely think wifi limitations cause the biggest problems when people say theirs go offline. Or the position/location of the hub.
I also have the doorbell and other than the annoyance that I can't get it to stay charged from the original mains wiring doorbell, it works well.
Didn't own these but I owned the eufy Cam 2 and they had that problem. Ended up returning them back to Currys. Before buyilng people please read the eufys, forums. This even sounds like a good product is full of flaws
Which brand would you recommend then please?
