good game, good price
Download only so good as a stocking filler
I do want this. I've realised recently I'm one of those sad types that actually enjoys just driving around, not in a race. That train simulator that got given away recently in a bundle opened my eyes to just how nice it is to put some tunes on and settle into a sim like this. I'm still amazed how they manage to get so much landscape into a game that's all laid out like real life. Are there developers sitting there placing road signs for days on end or is this somehow automated from maps I wonder?

It reviewed quite well too considering how small its potential audience is.
Do you get to simulate sitting in a traffic jam in this?

If not, I'm out.

Great deal on a surprisingly engrossing game. Gets some heart.
Heard so many good things about this game, how easy is it to play with a joypad, or will I need a USB truck horn dongle?
bargain...paid 19quid for it on games website a few month ago...steam download
This game is worse for you than a crystal meth addiction!

I certainly don't recommend them both at the same time!

I failed at the first stop on said train simulator, In a Ridge Racer type sense, The words (although not visible) made it hard for me to continue.
Why would you buy this when you can run people over in GTA?

Sorry, did I say that out loud?

At one point in the US it was a job requirement to do crystal meth if you were driving trucks.

Years ago when a simpsons game came out that played exactly like GTA. I think it was called Simpsons hit and run funnily enough. I was setting up the controls and such for my niece round at my sisters house and they had non gamer people there. So I was setting up the game and just driving around testing it out and in between the missions I was happily running the simpsons town folk down when I heard like a gasp from people there. When I looked everyone was looking at me like I was an axe murderer. So I kid you not, I said "It's OK, you get bonuses for running them over!" And another round of gasps! Then this guy I didn't even know said "I think we've seen enough"

I tried hard in the next few seconds to defend teaching a 9 year old to run people over in a car for bonuses.

Seems to be up and running OK here. Probably gremlins messing with the internet.
I love these types of games, if only there was an iOS or android equivalent

It isn't automated. It would lack a lot of detail if it was. Developers would have mapped it including the signs over a fairly long time period.

There need to be more games like this. I really enjoy just driving around even in a car and even in a place that isn't a real place. Racing can be fun too but it isn't relaxing in the same way.

I think we need another game like that. (Ideally that is actually a better game technically). I have played it again not too long ago.

I think I prefer the Hotline Miami or Retro City Rampage humour to anything in GTA (As far as IV anyway).
Tempted but gonna try the demo. I know I like this style of laid back game but I get obsessive. Took me a good month or two just to complete a few levels on Train Sim because I wanted the perfect 'lap'! Then I got onto the German train which has no speed warnings!
Oh heat added, I know this retails for £15. What is this activated on?

You will get a key which you can redeem on Steam. No physical disc, just a download.
Really really liked the demo, plus I was happy to make use of my driving force gt. Can see myself wasting quite a few hours on this.

Automated from maps would imply that it matches the real world, it does not. I'm not criticising the game, its good for what it is, but if you're expecting an accurate representation of cities and road layouts you're going to be disappointed.
ive installed it ok but when I try to run it I get the windows has encountered a problem and needs to close message . anybody any ideas ?
Deals over now. Gone back to £14.99
