Thanks for taking the time to share your first deal post with us @M7Roadrunner 8)
We r going to Villanova, just outside Barcelona costs 5 euro by bus to get in to centre. Costs are so reasonable.
Make sure bedding is inc, some sites you have to bring your own which on a plane is a bit hard
they also have bekse bergen Netherlands) available which looks a great campsite and included passes to local attractions included safari Park etc but only for 5people but price starts at €129 for long weekends. we will book direct next year's this site and it will be about €800 for a villa with hot tub for a week, then drive over on shuttle and drive upto it (think about 3 hour drive from calais through Belgium.
check out Groupon.nl and europamps are listed on thier, for different countries, France starts at €99 for 7 days for 6 people fir example. whilst they have restricted some dates when I checked some dates in our school holidays were available
This isn't for a tent though its for a 2 bed static caravan with decking and air-conditioning. Ive stayed at this site with eurocamp in a 2 bed van and had a fab time. We are booking again for next summer as we going to Lake Garda with canvas holidays this summer. You can stay in tents as well but this deal should be mice free!! They do a bus from the gates into Barcelona which is a lovely city. We did hire a car tho as we self catered and for days out.
I've been on 5 Eurocamp trips over last three years and never had any problems so should be ok I'd think. We did canvas as well this year and it was about the same really.
Good prices but I don't know if these are any good now after they got taken over in 2014? I'll stick with Canvas Holidays, never had an issue you with them.
Ah it's not showing the links... Use 16IAM01 when booking holidays for 2016
price is reasonable, but even after i enter promotion code on the party details screen, it stays the same ... no additional discount
You missed too not to...
should be on the left hand side below the holiday breakdown
Gone through a booking and entered all of my details, but can't see where you can add the extra discount code - can you tell me where it is please? Thank you.
I was looking to book a trip from uk to austria to visit a friend in Graz and wanted to combine it with an active holiday for my children aged 9-18. So it was perfect time to book. The camp offers everything I wanted to do within 7 nights. Many thanks. Heat added. Just booked 7 nights for May 1/2 term in Austria. Code really helped. Now looking for cheap travel from UK to Austria. Any advice is very welcome.
Been twice to La Croix and love it got something for everybody
We're going to La Croix I September - great to hear a nice review! Paid £225 for a week which sounded like a bargain but this is ace!
WOW they have tree houses!
Wow. Went here let August and paid £2k for 2 weeks! It's a pretty nice site and very child friendly especially for the teens.
la croix du vieux pont is an excellent parc too. we go here in the car and absolutely love it
We did 8 nights and got back on Thursday, having had a fab time. Managed with hand luggage only for all 4 of us and the kids (aged 4 & 2) only had their trunkis which was fine as they lived in their sunsuits anyway so I just washed them by hand then dried overnight. Would definitely recommend for future deals.
I can only find tents for £146 (same dates) now.
thanks :-) booked 3 nights during easter for 2 couples... a bargain £120 each inc accomodation, flights and car hire!
Dont forget 4% Quidco too.
Have just booked el delfin verde, for 2 weeks in june, flights with ryanair from liverpool. Cost £1011. Thats 2 adults and 2 kids. We get what we want from a holiday and so do the kids, as it looks like there is loads to do on site. Just need to book a car now. Thanks Thats including 3 extra luggage bags. Need more than 10kg when you have got kids!
Great site, have been twice in recent years. Would recommend it, if you can get a cheap deal then so much the better.
seems to be gone now
I was at Duinrell with the kids a few weeks back. Note that the Swimming Pool is now EURO 3.50 per person for 2 hours (it used to be free/included). I think we paid around £220-ish for 5 nights (for 5 of us) - but we also had to fly Easyjet on top of that. Otherwise, it was a great place - will def go again.
I paid barely more than that for 6 nights (sat 23rd onwards) although I did book very early. It's a great place.
Cant knock it.
yes it does seem fairly cheap. do you know if you normally have a rep onsite? yous camped with them before, and if so what were they like? cheers
I've just booked a short break in France for next month with Eurocamp - 4 nights in a premium pitch tent for £70 and I was happy with that. Also got a £50 return ferry with P & O and am spending another 4 nights at a Yelloh camp, which also had a good discount on. Bargain holiday : )
Butlins and Haven etc etc are such a rip off. Get on the net and search further afield..........
Amazing deal. Love Eurocamp, you can't beat it. We've just come back from 7 nights in France which cost us less than it would have to go to Butlins for 4 nights and that was including our ferry crossing too!! Fantastic holiday and lots of cheap vino too :O)
Looks pretty good value for money. Heat added.
Bit missleading - its 60 per night - you should change the heading
BooHoo family holiday for 6 flying from glasgow for less than £200. but son has exams .:c:cry::cry::cry:ry:
for those that need more than 10kg, you can always pay for one suitcase, still a very good deal & I can fully recommend these type of holidays, esp for young kids, mine love it, not been here though - yet!
Voted hot! good post m8!
We had a week last summer with only hand luggage - 2 adults and 2 kids - and as usualy came home with clothes that were unworn. On the way back we even had enough room to fill one of the cases with the lilos. buckets and spades etc that we'd bought out there.
There are tonnes of £3 flights during 1/2 term. I have just work out a route (for 5 of us) from Gatwick to Dublin, then on to Glasgow, then back home to Stansted. Flights will cost £43 - I just need to factor in commute to Gatwick and from Stansted (we live by Heathrow!). Fairfx Mastercard may need topping up!
Been looking at Eurocamp. Have you been? If so, which camp would you recommend?

Awww fab. We went with eurocamp years ago and had a wonderful time. This year we already booked Normandy with siblu as they were doing £25 deposit, sigh. But I am considering a week in may with this deal, I had better get a wriggle on a book!
Can echo that, we love eurocamp. :)
We have always done some holidays into Europe each year and paid a lot of money out for flights, accomadation, etc so when my wife said she wanted to do eurocamp last year i wasn't sure about the idea of (a) France and (b) camping . I have to say it was the best family holiday we have had and probably the cheapest too . Guess what type of holiday we are going on this year . (P.S) last years site was http://www.eurocamp.co.uk/index.cfm?fuseaction=Campsites.ResortOverView&ver=1&Mastercode=9 incase anyone is interested.
Great value if you can get a deal, but normal prices are pretty extortionate (add ferry too, of course). Sites are usually good though.
I done a Eurocamp last June with my partner in St Jean De Monts, I can safely say it was the best holiday I have EVER taken... we got the weather, clear skies, beautiful beaches, bike rides the lot, it was awesome.... bar food and drink is pretty extortionate so do the supermarkets and bbq with plenty of beer and wine...
La Croix Du Vieux pont is a lovely site,we have been going since 2006 with the SUN holidays ! ( eurocamp and siblu accom we have stayed in ) we go to Disney for a few days, takes an hour to drive there, although the site does put on a coach trip on varying days depending on season Pierrefonds castle nearby, where Merlin was filmed, is worth a visit too we don't use the ferry after a very rough crossing one July! we use tesco deals for the eurotunnel
Yep,that 1st one is on the Brava http://www.intercalonge.com/L02_01_localizacion.php Dorada is to the west of Barcelona
No the one I looked at is only 54km from Girona, International Calonga........I have been t here and its really lovely and much closer to Girona but still is on the page for Costa Dorada/Brava as its on the edge of both. https://www.hotukdeals.com/item/626854/7night-family-holiday-northern-fran If you want the Dorada one this might be useful https://www.hotukdeals.com/item/626479/return-flight-london-luton-to-salou
Cheap flight to Reus would be better for Costa Dorada
Good for a single parent with five kids!
no worries, it went a bit off topic, someone saying it was a center parcs for people on benefits, someone else jumped in to say the people of liverpool would be happy. I've been to a couple of these sites, & can confirm its nothing like that. plenty of people from all over europe, infact the english were in a minority. we both work & this is all we can afford at the moment, what with 3 day weeks & 10% pay cuts. Our kids aged 7 & 3 love this style of holiday, more so than the hotel holidays we've had in the past. Its much more relaxing for me too!! the kids can play outside under our watchful eye as oppose to being confined to the apartment or pool area, whilst we chill out on the decking doing a bbq! The reason they don't allow single sex holidays is to avoid the drunken gangs, theres a strict no noise after 12 policy, with security guards roaming round
thats for family of 4 for 8 nights
We don't allow it in our villa, especially as the first (and last) group of under 25s left the place in a state. Thankfully, it wasn't damaged in any major way, but we did have to replace a few towels etc. You can't really blame them for operating this rule though
I think common sense would prevail
I think the idea behind that is more groups of young males/females coming over drinking till 5am and throwing up all over the campsite disturbing the residents. There's plenty of places in this country that have that rule. However, I'm sure if you rang them and explained your situation they would be more accommodating.
ooh i love lake garda we went there with eurocamp last year ! i missed the spain deal, you got anymore good deals with eurocamp ??
Did anyone end up going on this holiday? what did you think/ I just got back from Eurocamp in Italy (lake garda) it was AMAZING!
theres a bus outside that goes to salou too
I have just been on a reus website who state a bus leaves from the arrivals terminal and goes to tarragona for €3, i'll take that thankyou! a taxi from tarragona to the park playa will be pennies in comparison. sorted!
I agreee. However with regards to Reus airport i believe there is only 1 or 2 taxi's capable of carrying more than 4 people, so apart from the Plana bus which i use there is little other option (obviously you can use more than 1 taxi). Especially if your destination is slightly off the beaten track (or of course hire a car).
This is a fab campsite. We stayed here last year and would def go again. We had a day a Disneyland (took about an hour to get there) and lots to do roundabout but you would def need a car. Highly recommend!!!! Great for kids.. Man made beach is lovely, with shallow water for kids to play in, and deeper water for dinghys. Also big fishing lake.
We have stayed @ this site twice and going again for oct half term we self drive ( eurotunnel) and stay here using the SUN £9.50 / £15 holidays we use it as a cheap base to do Disney,a straightforward hours drive away lovely site, our 2 boys love it there & can't wait to go back we take our own bedding as they only supply blankets not duvets lol and can get quite cold (only a gas fire in lounge area) so we take a small heater to heat the bedrooms would recommend this site :)
The factory is a sugar beet factory, you can't see it from the site and we have certainly never smelt it. Site is first class, and every week the site's own coach ran day trips to Paris and Disney. We have stayed there several times but haven't been for a couple of years so can't confirm whether trips are still running.
I just did a search for August and for a 3 bed was nearly £1200, 2 adults 3 kids, and then there is travel too I guess. Didn't enquire any further.
I have stayed here before, with both Canvas and Keycamp, and the site is the nicest I have ever stayed on. Lots of fantastic facilities, friendly staff, nicely secluded but within walking distance of the village and other restaurants etc. You can get Ryanair flights into Paris Beauvais too.
Still best to go with ryanair as with the baggage and online check in it is still only £40 per person for the flights - If your worried about the flight times from Luton you can get flights from stansted for the same price - much better flight times too
Its on ryanair site as milan (bergamo)
Ryanair from Luton is available but late night flights meaning you lose a day and by the time you add luggage say 3 suitcases and online check in you can add another £110 comes in at £150 if you use an electron card cheapest commercial airline is alitalia with much more reasonable flight times which you can choose but £393 for 4 passengers from LHR
Sounds a great deal but don't see how you get those flights?? can't even see Orio al serio going from stanstead on the website? Any tips as to how you find these? Thanks x
