Yes, nothing for me this week (either).

Good to see "HAZE" isn't being forgotten though

Haze should be forgotten though, its an utterly dreadful game. Why on earth Free Radical made that over TimeSplitters 4 is anyone's guess

I would agree with you regarding the single player (campaign) mode, but the online multiplayer can be fun (like "TimeSplitters" used to be).

Still, as Crytek GmbH bought the last remains of Free Radical Design from the Administrators for the organisation (& saved around 40 employees' jobs in the process) we can hope for "TimeSplitters 4" & "Star Wars: Battlefront III" to be released by Crytek UK

("Crysis 2" is out first though)

Held off buying the SF IV costume pack, might pick that up now its a lot cheaper

shocking list.

Really getting bored of the PSN Store. How do Sony expect edistribution to take off when their offerings are so poor.

There is nothing stopping you sourcing a US PlayStation Network Card to use as credit within a US PlayStation Network Account alongside your existing European Account on your PS3 to take advantage of prices/items across the Atlantic.

Other regional Stores & associated Network Cards are available.

Already do that, have done for the last 2 years. Used entropay at first then went to Penn State for a year so bought up a fair few PSN cards, PS3 games and other items to last me when I came back home to the UK.

...and you wonder why the European Store does not have any revenue to expand?

Buying content from Stores in other territories will not help!

Hot hot hot - deal should be changed to "1942 - £3.99"

I loved the demo but felt at £6.99 (not the £7.99 quoted in the opening post) it was too expensive so have been waiting for an offer on it.

£3.99 is great value if the game is as good as the demo suggests - and I had some credit left from when thehut were selling PSN cards cheap (£20 for under £15 after discount with morethan insurance), so really it works out under £3 for me!

I'm with skipster, will be grabbing 1942. Love a bit of retro vertical scrolling action.

just need to wait for yesterdays cheap mymemory psn card to be delivered

Yes, "1942: Joint Strike" was released on the European Store on 12 September 2008. A Playable Demo was available as well as the Full Game costing £6.99 (as you mentioned).

The £7.99 is either a typographical error or it did increase by £1.00 before today's fall to £3.99.

I didn't like the title at all, but I'm glad you have found something useful from the current list of Special Offers.
