I booked one of these Eurostar deals a couple of years ago. I think it was some code on Facebook or something. Anyway, I booked my tickets and turned up at St. Pancras only to be told there was a delay and that if I wanted to travel I'd have to pay extra. I refused and waited it out til they let me on a train. Most other people were handing over the cash though. Very sneaky move by Eurostar who know most people will just hand over the cash because they want to go on their trip. What's worse is that the train I boarded was 90% empty whilst there were huge queues.
Theres nothing wrong with eurostar or any of the destinations.

Eurostar is not a con and they do not stop you boarding their trains or demand more money from you. The cheap tickets are released like clock work it has nothing to do with politics or bad service.

It is as hassle free, good value, reliable and efficient as it gets.

Paid more for London to Milton Keynes. Had a great time there too. Surprisingly if you go to Paris with a bad attitude and the Daily Mail in your back pocket, you probably won’t like it.

deal for anyone who doesn't work?

Or for someone who does work and has to take their annual leave allowance before the end of December..
Well it's really £58 for a return isn't it? How much is the Eurostar usually?

Decent times though? I have checked these deals before and it's leaving at 8pm UK, leaving 7am France the next day.

They should be reported to trading standards

I think no matter what happens with the B-word the changes wouldn't be made in terms of European Visas, etc for a couple of years. Should be fine to travel in 2019-2020. Should be.

€10 euro for 50cl affligem brune, good job it's on expenses!
I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but I can’t seem to get prices anywhere near the £29 one way price ... I’m putting in 8th November going out to Paris and returning on the 11th but the cheapest I have is £330 for 2 adults ... 😩
Worth pointing out that if we crash out without a deal documents leaked to the Times today show that St Pancras & Eurostar stations expect to be hit with major delays & disruption
hence the cheap tickets
another brexit bonus

He is still correct grumpy or not, but if you are intent on destroying your country please go right ahead.

On topic , let's see if I can find a day to pop over, not been to Paris since school.

Oh, not this again. THERE IS ZERO CHANCE OF CRASHING OUT WITHOUT A DEAL THIS YEAR.
Lol! Crashing ? Such positivity eh, negative spin, there needs to be a health warning when visiting France.

Were you warning everyone you knew overseas not to come to the UK in 2011 during the riots?
2011? Lol wow your about 8 years out!
Great deal for teachers.... not.

(Still voted hot)

Not far from there so might check it out, not a fan of fruit beers though, bit sickly for me.
Partial to leffe myself.
That is a disturbing looking train.

Those incapable of appreciating the arts, sights and culture of one of the world's greatest cities? Let's call it "most brexiters".

Logic not your strong point.

My point was that in 2011, foreigners might have thought that the UK was 'dangerous' because of the riots.
Just like you are trying now to paint abroad/Paris as 'dangerous'.

The truth is neither country is a place to be scared of unless you are brainwashed or xenophobic.

They can’t do that, you’d have grounds to sue them for contravention sale of goods act and report them to trading standards.
