  • Paris or Brussels from £29 each way* – travel between 22 March and 23 August
  • Any Belgian station from £29 each way* – travel between 22 March and 23 August
  • Lyon from £45 one way* – travel between 21 June and 17 September
  • Avignon or Marseille from £49 one way* – travel between 21 June and 17 September
  • NEW DIRECT ROUTE to Amsterdam** from £35 one way* – travel between 04 April and 03 September

I have just booked £29 each way to Paris, theres a lot of tickets left, need to search dates. Hope this is useful to someone.

Edit13/3/18 8:30pm : So i noticed some people saying they can't get the £29 fares, while i could still see them. So this is whats happening, what you have to do is when doing a search, is to select Return travel, if you just search for one way they are not offering the £29 fare, e.g. On 15th April Lon -> Paris when you select return there are 5 trains at £29 to Paris, but if you select One way then lowest fare offered is £84. I hope this helps .

They are using them on this route now. However, luck of the draw as you may get an old one.

You could see when booking at some point by selecting your seats, but I believe now you no longer select before booking and change them afterwards

New trains are the norm now but the old seats are a tad more comfortable I think. There's more space on the new trains though.

Belgium is 29 for Brussels only? 35 for Brugges?
Can't seem to find any dates at that price.

Me either - also the "new direct Amsterdam route" has no return whatsoever. I'm guessing this is because of Brexit?

I think it’s because trains coming back from Amsterdam you have to change at Brussels and go through a customs check.

That's correct. Might be easier to take train there but fly back.
Voted Hot purely for the fact that even going during the May half term, it's only £35pp one way. Frikkin' awesome. Just a shame that we'd need to come back eventually and that's where it bites at £91.50 for the return.

Great find though Op!

Metro. Very cheap when i was there some years ago. Will go to all the attractions, just like the tube in london, but much cheaper
Thanks Op. Heat given. End of June-July return £58 great deal.

At the risk of being controversial I prefer the old ones! The new ones are like a cheap Ryanair with bad lighting. Fantastic deal however, thanks OP
Thanks
I'm flying to Brussels later today. shame this wasn't on week ago when I booked it. Train time is same as early arrival at airport and flight time combined.

Would recommend the Lyon trip to all . High speed TGV down to Lyon from Paris is just as comfortable as the Eurostar & Lyon itself is a great place. I paid over £300 return for 2 of us last year ( as it was pretty much last minute ) so would snap this up now if i could go by end August.

You arrive in central Paris at gare du Nord. There's a decent train and metro network.
All the £29 tickets to Paris have gone up to £44
The "FROM" is really bad thing, most people never get £29 , airline is much cheaper than Eurostar
