Why on earth has this been expired as it is very much live?

You have set the expiry date before the begin date?

should that not be the 13/11 for expiry?

Happy Bootleg Christmas

This looks fun. Is there much to do in the Calais area for an afternoon?

Come on guys, pay togo to France, shouldnt it be other way around?
I'm not sure France holds much lurve for me, apart from the cheap booze and tobacco you can get. lol

Shame going to Belgium isnt the same price. Bruges Chrismas markets would be nice at those times.

Bray Dunes is a fun place ( just inside the French border ) if you were thinking of going into Belgium for tobacco. Personally i find Calais pretty dire but of course Cite Europe is close by for shopping

France & cheap tobacco don't go these days. You either have to know someone or go into Belgium to make it worthwhile (_;)

do they rim you if you buy 2 returns and only use one journey from each? if u catch my drift...

Probably not if you miss the return but the 2nd booking you would miss the outward journey. I know with airlines that if you miss the outward journey they cancel the rest of the itinery.

As far as I'm aware if you don't use part of the journey(ie the return) you get charged the FULL fare for the whole journey.

Ths is for eurotunnel NOT eurostar! so you could quite easily drive to bruges from calais. Great Deal will book one, need to stock up on cheap wine!

is this per car or per person?

From Eurotunnels' T's and C's: Your booking is only valid for the booked dates and departure times and the vehicle type stated at the time of booking. Failure to complete both the outward and return journeys in respect of a return booking will invalidate your booking and in the event that you complete only one journey in respect of a return booking, you will be liable to pay the difference between the price that you paid for your return booking and the single fare applicable at the time that your journey was made. Eurotunnel reserves the right to obtain from you payment in full for all sums so arising. Travel must be completed on the date/time reserved.

last time i went to france i dont remember the tobacco being all that much of a deal, the wine is tho, just come back from fuerventura and there are bags of duty to be seen there fags were 89cents a pack and a bottle of wine around a euro saw 200 fags for under 10 euro.

still voting hot for the deal as wines cheap.

It is the same price - wherever you're planning to head to, the tunnel always stops at calais! This is eurotunnel, not eurostar

Bruges is about an hours easy drive from Calais

Drive to Bruges from Calais, doesn't take long. I've done it before.

shame this wasnt an oiffer last month as from 1st of october your allowance you can bring back from eu has dramaticly changed to stop people going over the channel to stock up on fags and alcohol.

This isn't true! all that's changed is the guidelines. They suggest you bring back 1kg of tobacco, but if you bring more back i.e. 3kg they cannot take it from you! Don't buy into the fear that HMRC create. Who are they to say you only need 1kg? Why can i not buy 3kg to stop me having to go again sooner than I want to?

Awesome deal, I've run out of Frogs to remind about the world cup round my way

Here I come France, GO THE ALL BLACKS

Bruges is just over an hours drive from Calais. Old historic town with beautiful centre and lots of canals. Called the Venice of the north. Lots of nice bars and cafes. Well worth the detour from Calais if you have the time.

if you live near East London then coach day trips to France and/or Belgium are from £30 even a trip to Lille's Xmas market

Not according to the film dullest place on earth apparently, but what would Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson know X)

Shame it would cost me 10 times that to get to Dover
