This is currently in Boots' 3 for 2 offers. It's already the cheapest around at £1.65. So this offer makes them £1.10 each.
It varies between £1.80 and £2 in the main Supermarkets so this is a good deal IMO (for Euthymol).

Unique and strong flavour (Essential oils, not mint)
Fluoride-Free
Antiseptic ingredients to keep teeth and gums clean and healthy
Strong heritage and Loyal users

I am one of those loyal users. Heat added, a bit like the heat you feel in your mouth after using this toothpaste

probably an absolute bargain

Fluoride free?

SLS Free?

& it says it out of stock

Holland & Barrett currently have buy one get one half price on everything + free delivery and they have good fluoride free, sls free, range of toothpastes or just other healthy ones.

absolutely little to no benefit for your teeth. please people- buy ordinary toothpaste, SLS free or not.

Mmmmm. Tastes like deep heat.

Why would you buy fluoride free tooth paste?

Fluoride disrupts the process of tooth decay by:

changing the structure of developing enamel, making it more resistant to acid attack – these structural changes occur if a child consumes fluoride during the period when enamel develops (mainly up to seven years of age)
encouraging better quality enamel to form that is more resistant to acid attack
reducing plaque bacteria’s ability to produce acid, which is the cause of tooth decay

The offer is on instore. You'd need to pay £2.95 delivery online which would make it a little pointless!

might as well brush your teeth with shower gel

This is £1.80 at Tesco (normal price) x 3 = £5.40 See link here

It is cold for me.

Just like to point out that this is very low foaming. So if you gag with too much foam this may be for you if the taste suits.

Heated as this is great stuff.

Best toothpaste.

Lack of fluoride is not an issue since it's in mouthwash. Which you all use right? right?

We have plenty of fluoride in our water. I love this toothpaste and have been using this for several years and my teeth are in great condition and it tastes lovely. I can't stand the taste of any other toothpaste now.

Banned

You better be using this one..........LOL

learn 2 math (and read descriptions)

£3.30 is the price for 3 of them - Boots currently have a buy 2 get 1 free offer. £1.65 each, so works out £3.30 for 3 packs, or £1.10 each.

But thanks for the cold vote!

great offer but if unavailable I have discovered Wilkinson's are selling it for £1.60 FAB price nearly £2.00 everywhere else use this all the time xh

Pardon my ignorance, but what's so good about this toothpaste? Also, what is SLS and why does it matter (and what other alternative products are there?)

Heat added anyway, cheapest I've seen (even if I've never been quite sure what it was!)

Doh!! I guess I have to brush up my arithmetic and English comprehension. It's actually a good deal at that price. Thanks for pointing it out. Hot Hot Hot it is now.

Why would you use normal toothpaste?! It burns your skin ffs

Never mind the fact fluoride is a chemical waste product, the idea that fluoride is beneficial is outdated at best!

Tin foil hat and decay free.

Is this product from 1950s?

What's good about it? For me it's the fresh medicinal sort of of taste. I always feel like I've just come from the dentist when I've brushed my teeth. But it's also a very different taste so some people hate it. If you like the smell of Germoline, or the taste of Root Beer, or maybe even Dr. Pepper you'll probably like Euthymol.
There was a chewing gum I remember having as a kid that tasted of it as well, but I've never been able to remember what it was called

As for SLS... It's Sodium Lauryl Sulphate and it's added to many of the toothpastes to turn them into foam when you're brushing. It can give you mouth ulcers (if you're sensitive to them).

As for fluoride: health.howstuffworks.com/wel…htm

^^ We called the chewing gum you are talking about "germaleen!". It had stick on transfer wrapped around the pink square gum.
It was white square wrapper, and it might have been some from of hubba bubba?

Was it Dentyne

I have been using Euthymol for 29 years. I was introduced to it from a friend visiting from Australia, So, fresh bit like antiseptic at first. No other toothpaste makes my mouth feel so clean. I am now addicted to it and cannot live without it, five years ago I had allergy tests and found I was allergic to fluoride so could only drink bottled water but did not have to change my toothpaste. Never leave me Euthymol I love you. I'm 50 years old I clean my teeth twice a day smoke and eat lots of sweet things and Euthymol has done me proud. Thankyou x

Well turns out this was the deal of the century! You literally cannot find Euthymol anywhere now other than for exorbitant prices on eBay. Johnson & Johnson are either relocating their manufacturing facilities, or 'reformulating the Euthymol brand', which I guess means screwing it up Supposedly won't be back on the shelves until sometime in the first quarter 2014!
