Just found this as I was looking through my wishlist. Cheapest it's ever been on Amazon by a considerable amount. Evanescence's best album imo and one to cherish in your vinyl collection.

This and my crush on Amy Lee

Very early in the morning this album helps me. It really brings me to life and wakes me up inside.

This is one of the best albums in the history of music 💜

Years ago, I used to go to a local pub, with a group of friends, after our acting class and it's as if everytime I would walk in, "Bring Me To Life" would be playing in the background. Good memories. Heat Added
Fantastic album, silly format (in 2020)

Lithium is my favourite evanescence song, it's hauntingly beautiful. There are other great songs on fallen, there's not a bad track on that album.

I'm so jealous, it would be amazing to see them live!
Very good band. One of those bands that had mainstream success, but then disappeared off the radar. Thankfully still going strong. Just discovered Amy Lee has a solo album to.

Welcome. Apparently it's called dream to much which was released in 2016. She also had an ep in the same year called recover volume 1 and before that did a soundtrack called aftermath, to the film War story starring Ben Kingsley. I have just discovered and didn't even know she released these. Will be interesting to hear what they sound like.

I think we are in for a surprise as the album is aimed at children.

Track is 7 called rubber duckie . Has a cover of the Beatles hello goodbye which should be interesting. It seems she promoted the album through Amazon.

If played on the right equipment I'd agree, however most of the new wave vinylists seem to use a £29.99 from Argos device

I think for most it's a stepping stone. I'd wager that anyone with any sense would soon spend a bit more for their listening pleasure.

What's happened to them?

Amy basically became a diva and caused Ben Moody (the other key songwriter to leave the band) the rest of the band were essentially hired guns and weren't involved in the song writing process.

This is why everything since Fallen seems to have been missing that "something" that made the first studio album (post Origin) so good.

Ben and the ex-live members did go on to form another band called "We are the Fallen" with American Idol contestant (and Amy Lee look alike) Carly Smithson.

Personally I prefer that album as the spiritual successor to Fallen. Sadly they never achieved the same traction as Evanescence and disbanded in 2012.
Damnit it's sold out, I have to expire
