Was looking for a bike lock and this was £5 cheaper than Amazon.

You might want to consider the Onguard Brute or Pitbull lock too, they are often sold for about £21 on amazon etc and are Sold Secure Gold rated, whereas this one is only Silver rated (Brute also has a thicker shackle, but doesn't include a cable and is heavier).

Thanks, that's good to know. In my case the bike is probably only worth £50 so this is more of a low cost deterrent than anything else. However, will bear that in mind in case I ever get a better bike!
I've got a Kryptonite New York on mine, probably worth more than the bike!
Got this lock. Weighs a ton and cable not really thick enough. But then again seems to be the weight of these things nowadays in order to stop the bike stealing scum.
D locks are great. The amount of cable locks I have seen cut open within seconds is crazy.
people put £5 locks on there £500 bikes which is ridiculous
Bike insurance is a great purchsde, if someone stills your bike aslong as you have receipt of a bike lock at level required depending on bike cost there cover you if lost, 50£ a year for my 700£ electric one, I have no worries leaving it in dodgy areas now, I'm happy if after a year someone does knick it :))
