ONE DAY ONLY?

Never ever make a rash decision when buying a mattress!

Definitely something to sleep on. ;-)

What is it with all these girls names? I guess sleeping on Roger or Barry the builder with his asscrack doesn't sound quite as appealing.

I got my double for £450. Love it!

Grr paid £600 for my king size a few months ago!
On the other hand I have slept much better in that time! Great mattress and not really soft like cheaper memory foam ones.

We have the Leesa mattress which is similar and some of the best money I’ve ever spent.

Great price OP

I like a med/firm mattress opinions please? Tia

If you are thinking about a new mattress I highly recommend an Eve. We bought our King last BF on the same deal and it's amazing value for money.

We have bought a small double for my son this morning as we thought this was coming. He's only 2 but after buying my 4 year old a Silent Night mattress for £240 and hating it (after testing a lot) we didn't want to buy anything else.

Also, I would recommend the pillow - I suffer with neck issues quite badly every few months. It's only happened once since the pillow and mattress combo and only very lightly, My wife also suffers from a pretty severe cough and the pillow really helps with that too!

Is there a big difference between the Eve and Emma? I have been lookibg at both and swaying towards the Emma.

Found eve gets too warm over summer and never shifted the smell in the 100 night trial so back it went. Using waterlattex at the moment.

cold now, this is good

We tried a few in various stores / pop-ups / friends houses before purchasing.

We found the Eve and Casper rather soft with the Simba and Leesa a fair bit firmer. We couldn't test the Emma anywhere but took a punt on it based on the reviews and it is the firmest we have tried and love it. If you want a super firm mattress the Bruno is apparently rather good.

One of the Amazon reviews I read stated that the 100 day trial isn't included when purchasing from Amazon, rather a 30 day trial.

Yes we found the same. We tried Simba, Casper, Leesa and Eve and found them all too hot and Eve was the worst quality of them all. Very poor. We also bought an Eve pillow which was great for a couple of weeks then lost its memory foam springiness. If the mattresses are made from the same thing, then I wouldn't expect them to last either.

But this is a very good price.

In the end we settled for a Bruno mattress and would really recommend it. Not as squishy comfortable as some of others but sleep well, no back problem and we've never found it to hot. Its been the perfect solution. (I'm not an undercover salesman, but I am keen to share this as we spent so long trying different mattresses you can imagine how pleased we were when we finally foudn the right one!)

Try Ikea's memory foam mattress for £180 kingsize. Ikea's 25 yr warranty (don't tell me its bad to keep one for 25yrs) and 90 day peace of mind.
They are fantastic and have won awards. Just look into it.
You can go bling and get an expensive topper too if you like but we nearly paid £700 for a mattress elsewhere then tried there's and couldn't believe how good it was.
Just saying. It's a fantastic alternative with brilliant quality . we bought a firm and it lives up to its reputation.

Thanks, had been tempted until I read that. Desperately need a new mattress and had been thinking of taking advantage of the 100 day trial which I think is essential if buying sight unseen to be sure you're getting the right one.

Thank you. I'll check this out..
I definately don't want to scrimp on a mattress but I just think these "new" companies are inflated in price and spend a ton on advertising...

The Amazon description specifically states that it includes the 100 day warranty, as long as it's bought directly from Amazon, which in King Size at least, it is.

Very very soft if you like that sort of thing

I own one of these mattresses. Decided to go for it when we were about to have a baby. Sleep is important and the 300 year old IKEA one we owned wasn't cutting it.

My wife isn't a fan of memory foam, but after looking at reviews this came out the firmest of the bunch.

We paid £450 for ours about 6 months ago and after the getting used to period, my wife is a convert and we love it.

I highly recommend the mattress. Just remember to spin it 180 degrees every 30days, which can be a faff as there are no handles. Minor quibble.

Hmm, for a good night's sleep, this, or to render me unconscious, spend the equivalent on the many hukd alcohol deals?

WE got a silent night memory foam which was great for the first few months but has since developed depressions where we each lie - I am 11.5st which isn't huge (is it?). I am worried that even a 100 day test period is not long enough for something that will almost certainly be fine for at least 6 months. Similarly most reviews get written within a few weeks of purchase so don't tell the long term picture.

We have a simba and it's fantastic

We slept few nights on my brother's EU King size and were so impressed we bought EU Double for ourselves. Don't think there are made from different materials but ours seems to be not so firm as my brothers. Anyway we still like it a lot!

Not so sure now that I've read some of the reviews from longer term owners. While most reviews are positive, I wonder how many are written days/weeks after purchase rather than months/years?

I emailed Eve direct about the 100 night trial
"Thank you for your interest for eve Sleep, you are right Amazon today is offering a great price!
They have their own price policy and we are unable to offer the price match.

I can confirm that the conditions are the same: 100 days trail and 10 years warranty."

I've had one for 13 months now and I couldn't be happier. It's made a tremendous difference to my quality of sleep. I use memory foam pillows too which I think help, i found before that I was propping my head up way too high with 2 pillows, and now I just use 1. No more back ache and no problems at all.

All gone
