there was a glitch on the PS store earlier. Fixed now though.

Got this free earlier - so glad I did - I've played it for 10 mins and it's so sickening - motion sickness to the max! Never again

I had it after 30min with drive club. Graphics are huge disappointment but ffs I'm still dizzy now. I hope my body will adapt quickly.

Yeah I'm disappointed with the graphics - it's like your sitting too close to a 720p screen!

I've found the shorting range in the London heist part of vr worlds excellent - simple and no movement!

Why is this cold? 40 and 42 are good prices for these games

If the sickness continues you might be better off waiting for PSVR2 in 2019 or thereabouts. By that time, makers of VR hardware might have figured out how to easily hack the inner ear so motion sickness is removed. Samsung is currently R&D'ing it but their project requires an unmarketable method.

Is it transplanting a Note 7 into the inner ear?

lol

It requires shocks. Not really, but it could easily be seen that way. It's called GVS and it uses tiny electrical impulses via earphones to stimulate your vestibular system (the part of your inner ear that controls sense of balance and inertia). It essentially tricks you into thinking you're moving even though you're not. Now, this has two advantages. One, it removes motion sickness because motion sickness occurs when there is conflict between what you see and what your vestibular system senses. Two, it takes VR to the next level of immersion because you simulate forces (taking a hard turn when driving, etc). Samsung let people try it out, and what happened was by applying pulses to one side of the head it led people to unknowingly tilt their head that way.

So, it works and as long as it is messaged right it can sell. The problem is if Samsung has sole control over that method via patent or if other companies can devise their own way to do the same thing. Hopefully, other companies can because GVS (along with wireless) is what's going to take VR into the mainstream.

psvr skeptic voting cold

it is quite annoying that this is the cheapest price for this game and £13 cheaper than PSN and so many cold votes. this is not a pave to show your skepticism on PSVR but this is for deals, and this qualifies! oh and if you did buy a VR then get this it is amazing

Really? I've had no issues playing it on the oculus, infact I was surprised by how non sickening it felt.

I have nothing against VR, but £42 for a mediocre game that includes microtransactions is not viewed by me as a good deal. The only reason that it can get away with such a high price is the current lack of titles on the technology, so it will sell more due to a lack of things to do on PSVR rather than on merit of being worth that much money.
