I'm still on the fence.

So it's not for you then??

He's a roadie.

He’s achieved a lot andHaving seen him talk a couple of years ago, I would say he’s knowledgeable, entertaining and certainly not ‘up himself’

Went and saw Mark at the Cheltenham Literature festival last week, the man is crazy and really does challenge human boundaries of mental and physical strength.

That's the way it is unfortunately, it's school half term every year so maybe keep your holidays to be off with your children this time next year.

Holidays used already, remaining ones allocated to Christmas... But even like the times, all the times are like between 11-2, so what if I would be available later that afternoon, why no times there?

Use your holidays, like I have to spend some time with your children when they are off school. Do it every year.

Earlier dates in Scottish stores. Round about the 19th.

It was posted on their public page, open for ANYONE to book. No restrictions, no indication it wasn’t for the masses either.

So how did the OP ever get wind of this? Genuinely interested to know as isn't something you just stumble across. My company use Event brite for internal events all the time so that's perfectly normal but there's no way anyone external could get the link.

Received a cancellation email ... offer was only for staff

Ordered about half hour ago. Got confirmation email. Just now got cancellation email. With absolutely no reason lol. 2 bob

(cheeky) You could always use some of it as fancy wrapping paper if the pattern's nice!

I honestly wish I'd paid a bit more for wallpaper. I got mine from Wilko and it looks lovely but it's such poor quality. The slightest thing and it marks.

I’ve never used this brand of paint but if you’re happy then fair enough. I managed to snag 15 rolls of Laura Ashley wallpaper for 50p a roll when our local closed; not my normal cuppa tea but I appreciate it is good quality... still thinking about putting it up it’s been 18 months in the cupboard ha ha

It's threads like this that make me wish HUKD didn't have temperatures on Freebies because it ends up simply being judged on the whims and bias of the voters rather than any genuine value or discount. We used Farrow and Ball as we have lime plaster in our house and it can't be covered in thick emulsion because of the risk of damp and all the other annoyances of that type of plasterwork. So it's not just your jolly hockey sticks crew that use this. I can't go but the better half will pop along as we're looking to redo the lounge at the end of the year. Thanks OP.

It does cover really well... No doubt down to the higher pigment as you say. Also the colours aren't really available elsewhere... All those mixing colours don't really match. I find with Dulux and the like I need to go over a couple of times or use twice as much so it balances out really. I also think that a lot of people in the trade don't like it because they can't get a decent mark up on it. The old 'wickes paint is really made by Dulux' line doesn't work on the customer if they don't do the colour they want.

Won't attend but heat anyway. Give yourself a pat on your pack if you know how to register a company, but for others that don't and want more info, this caters to them. Moreover, might be a good opportunity to network.

Agreed. It takes minutes to register, it's very easy and if you can't follow a few easy steps you really need to back away from trying to run your own company.

Agreed. Even if we don't know what to ask, we might learn with other people's questions present there.

Not sure why cold. It's useful stuff to know about regardless. And it's a very boring read so a talk will probably be better.
