sorted byI've had a bottle of this for over two years now and its not dried up. Haven't even had to unclog the nozzle.
Bought mine from a previous deal I saw on here from some adhesives trade company, search refuses to find the deal now though (edited)
Delivered free without spending £20 if you have Prime or a Prime trial.
Add on items are different, add on items are only delivered with orders over £20 even with Prime.
This is Not an Add on item
Keep it in the fridge, it will last for a few years. Preferably wrapped up in a plastic bag or airtight container.
Supposedly it will keep indefinitly in a freezer.
You can often avoid the nozzle getting blocked by wiping it and gently tapping the bottom of the bottle on a table to get the glue to run down the spout back into the bottle, although I do still sometimes have to poke a safety pin down the spout to clear it.
I always avoid buying the tiny metal tubes of this stuff, partly because it is expensive way of buying it, but mainly because I once used a tube that leaked when I squeezed it, bonding my fingers securely to the bottle, never had that problem with a large plastic bottle. (edited)
Not if you have Prime, just get a 30 day free trial and cancel before the trial ends if you don't have Prime.
Sorry
Just what you need toolstation.com/sup…374
As far as I recall, superglue contains a mild acid to inhibit curing, the acid is drawn out by the small amount of moisture when exposed to air and is neutralised if exposed to an alkaline, which cures it instantly, and it also reacts directly with skin.
You can pour baking powder onto a blob of superglue to make it fill gaps and it cures instantly.
One thing to avoid is exposing superglue to heat, the fumes are horrendous if they get in your eyes, as I found out because someone once used the end of my reel of solder to spread superglue. (edited)
Forensics labs develop fingerprints with superglue vapour. Nasty stuff on wet surfaces like the membranes around your eyes!
I've used the small tubes that you can buy several of dirt cheap, and bought this exact Everbuild one from Amazon a few weeks ago (primarily because I was fed up with the lack of viscosity, poor quality and solidifying after a single use that I found to be an issue with the tiny tubes. I was extremely pleased - I think this is a hugely better quality product. Well worth it. Similar products are far pricier.
Only just becoming unusable due to half of the contents solidifying
Not bad at all.

Mods done it :-)
I always forget P&P charges for non prime
Good to know, I haven't bothered with superglue for years because I don't make a habit of breaking things everyday so got sick of only being able to use it once before it dried up.
Mine sat on my table for a year and had to unclog the nozzle everytime when I need to use it.
Add on items can be bought with Prime without spending £20 if ordered through an Amazon Alexa gadget... Learnt that on here, bought quite a few add on items recently without adding them to any orders, it really does work....easiest way, especially if you have not got a Show 5 or 8 with a screen to see the item is to add the item to your basket on your phone then complete the purchase with Alexa.
Stings like a £$$%% though
Is that for 20g? This is for 50g.
I suspect it was the 9% water in the IPA he was using that was "activating" his superglue, I use pure IPA to clean parts when using superglue and haven't noticed it speeding the curing up.
I'm no chemist, but I believe you need an alkaline to make superglue set quickly, possibly the activator he'd bought also has a small amount of an alkaline with IPA as the carrier. (edited)
I thought it was water (sweat) possibly which is why your fingers get stuck
"I've discovered that you can make a version of cyanoacrylate (CA) glue accelerator at home. Just mix 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda into 1/4 cup of purified water. Brush it onto the “dry” half of the joint. The soda will neutralize the acid in CA glue, which is there to slow the curing time.18 Jul 2017"
