EDIT - urgh, not showing the offer online for me (£1.55). In fact, the Everest Paneer isn't even included in the £3 off Asian food promotion (there are other things that are though).
That's strange... I can see the offer and with the £3 off...am not even signed into my account...
Hotukers are only interested in comments on deal itself, not on your personal taste..
Then, my good man, a saving of 55p is not a deal for me
35% off the normal price must make this a deal, Shirley?
35% reduction is a good deal for me...if you want to save more money you got to buy more....
It's still there in offer!8)
I recommend frying this in oil so it browns.. then adding back to the pan toward the end of curry making.
This stuff is OK.. it's a bit plasticky in texture. Regarding tooth-squeak.. Good Paneer should squeak when you eat it. At this price it's worth grabbing a couple of blocks (though my Tesco doesn't stock it) but I think the one they sell at Sainsburys is slightly better, more like real Paneer, though it does crumble..
It's pretty easy to get far better and fresher quality at home.. takes 30 mins all you need is milk, citrus, and something to strain is through.. Read this guide to see how simple it is : vegrecipesofindia.com/how…er/
It's £1.50 - as confirmed at the till - and at http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk
Indeed if you follow the link above the product is unlisted
Needs to be expired unless someone can find a way of getting it for £1
It's just a more authentic product IMO.. and if you check the fat content .. 5% saturated fat vs 17.4% for the Everest brand
