This is for 7kg, and 3.5kg is over a pound more. A 12kg bag is close to £25, making this the frugal choice.

Great for killing moss and weeds and feeding your grass, this should do for a whole season if you don't have a mentally big lawn.

4.3 out of 5 on Amazon, and the go-to product for a lot of gardeners.

Thanks to User "£$€" For those seeing full price, go to "all offers" and it's there at £7.49. Delivery date has increased though, as people have been buying it.

No, this site is about deals which are valid right now. If a deal is expired, then it is hardly helpful to those who need to buy a product today (and are on the site at this moment looking at deals).

And brilliant assumptions mate. I bought this, as I need it now and I bought my house 2 months ago. I went from a flat to a house. Therefore i didn't need to buy lawn care products to store away just in case I had a lawn in the future.

Also, you may not have previously had a knackered lawn or weed infestation that you needed this product. Again, if you are shopping for it TODAY, then this is the best price.

This also isn't the "inflated price". This is cheaper by a fair bit to anywhere you can currently buy it, and the only other time this was cheaper on Amazon was one day in November. If you're worrying about your lawn in November, then good luck to you.

Glad you got a bargain last year though.

Expensive. You need to learn to plan ahead and buy it at £4 for a 400m² when they're giving it away in mid summer.
£10 at Wilko so better option for non-prime people

Granted, but this is a deal site of what is happening now. You cant get this cheaper at the moment. Wilko seem to have dropped their price too, but they are still 3 quid more than this.

Things will of course be cheaper when they are not of use, but still take up loads of shelf space.

The Prime price can't be sniffed at though. It's a heavy box delivered to door. It may be worth a free trial to some folks.
@qbs - Ordered this on the 24th with the same deal and price and it's due to arrive today - great value as I don't live anywhere near Asda in Lancaster and so couldn't buy it for £4 last Summer.

Why didn't you just use your time machine? They were on sale 2 years ago.

Thanks op, been waiting for it to drop to around this price.

Need it now for the start of the grass growing season, not four or five months down the line on the off chance it might drop in price.

thanks for posting.
Earliest delivery April 13th for Amazon prime? Good find OP.
Bought this to improve the lawn but it only worked on half of it. The grass is still greener on the other side.

Must have been popular and sold out. My delivery is tracked for Thursday, and until I just refreshed the page just then, was "£7.49 ships in 1-2 days"

Still £7.49, but now 2 - 4 weeks from Amazon.
The product page defaults to the cheapest price immediately available I think. If you look at the "all offers" page, it's there for £7.49.

Get out Dad!

It's possible I'm your father. Like the bad gardener that i am I spread my seed indiscriminately as a young man.
Priced down at Wickes for people that live in Lowestoft, Leicester or Stevenage (only stores left with stock).

£10 for 12.6kg bag
I usually do get some on offer and keep for the next year, but have found that this stuff has a shelf life, I've got some left over from last year but I already know it will not give quite the same result as a fresh batch - don't get me wrong, always worth storing if cheap otherwise I prefer to buy fresh - hence I've ordered a pack and will mix it with what I've got left over from last year.
I’ve ordered a couple of bags so cheers op but I usually buy it a Wilco’s at the end of the summer bought 4 bags last year for £2.50 per bag!
For some reason my basket discounted by £5 so cost me £2.49! Cheers
£10 now.
Expired
does this stuff kill off your grass first leaving it black before it regrows ?
I did buy (2x 500 sq m) when cheap at Homebase in January. It did stink out the garage for a fortnight afterwards and smells again if I move it. Plus it takes up space. Therefore, I have voted hot for the original deal or links within, as having a reasonable price when you need it now has merit.
£10 now.
Still a pretty good price.
Wilkinson's do their own brand of this and it's £4 for 3.5kg
Still not as cheap as this but a great price. I may be wrong but I don't think evergreen are fertiliser manufacturers so it could be the same stuff. It gives you the chemical analysis on the Wilkinson's box so could be worth comparing for future reference.

Only if it's mostly moss in areas or you use too much. Grass will re-establish over time.
Been meaning to get on this for awhile. Was slightly gutted having missed out when it changed to £10, then I rememebred it's Amazon, right person, right time. Deal re-negotiated. Honestly amazon CS can be awesome, it's like bartering down the markets.

Did you do that through live chat?
I know if you had something in your basket and the price changes they normally honour it, but didnt know you could get a reduction after the fact!
Live chat. Basically made the order at £10 regardless then played nice and dumb. Was always hit and miss but if at first you don't succeed...
Ordered this morning, my delivery changed from mid April to Saturday

is this hazardous to dogs?
Now £10 for prime
Great price, annoying as just bought a box half the size in B&Q which was more expensive and haven’t used it yet as need the right conditions 😏

You have to put it down and wait for it to rain or water it in then once it’s dry it’s ok to let the dog walk on it. I’ve haven’t done mine yet as need to get the right conditions.
thank you
