This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

If you use evernote you probably already have been sent (loads of) emails letting you know they have a sale.
If you were considering to use evernote then this could be good for you.
Personally I dont use enough to warrant the premium. I tried it before but dropped back down to standard.

here is a comparison:

Thanks, timely
Cold, I'm afraid, because of the free alternatives that are just as good.

Fair enough I don’t disagree re alternatives... but if you must have Evernote premium then today is the day to start a subscription

Can you share the alternatives?.. I'm looking to get something like this.. but couldn't agree with paying so much for it.

Here’s a starter, but the obvious ones are Microsoft’s OneNote and maybe Google Keep

Very poor description.

Evernote (premium) allows key word searches of scanned docs or photos so you can find documents easily without OCR conversion - from what I can see the other free apps mentioned don't do this.

Blimey, so you want us all to click on links to find out what on earth you are posting?
Or you could have just posted what it is and saved loads of people clicking the link to find out, or just abandoning it because you are too lazy to post a proper deal.

It works really well too - even with handwritten noted

I did, but you clearly don't understand do you?
Why should all of us search for what this deal is, when you could have just posted it yourself saving all this traffic?
Let's waste everyones time looking to see if this is a deal for them or not.

Only trying to help you out.
Don't hate on me.

Don't be ridiculous - it takes a few seconds to Google Evernote. Added to which in 11+ years you've posted just 49 deals - hardly the expert on how to post!
Missed this. Anyone successfully managed to get it re-offered on an existing account?

Thanks. I’ve very much changed my mind about upgrading now though, having found out that once you’ve upgraded you can never go back to the free version again, leaving you locked into Premium at the standard high price once the deal price has expired.

I think I’ll emigrate to OneNote to get much the same thing for free.

It must have changed - I used to have premium from vouchers etc (eg via an Evernote moleskine notebook) and was able to go back to free

I use onenotyd for work - it’s v good too

OK - opened a Microsoft account for OneNote, downloaded the app, and at the moment it's neatly transferring all the Evernote stuff onto OneNote.

If the transfer works OK (no reason to suppose it won't) that's the last Evernote will see of me. They got too greedy.

It's not correct. I just downgraded to a basic version, although they don't make this option obvious.

Thanks. Useful information.

I’ve taken the plunge now, though, and shifted entirely to OneNote - a simple enough process, with all the information stored on Evernote transferred across to OneNote.

So what I now have is all the old Evernote stuff, now in much the same sort of format, but available across any number of devices at no cost whatsoever.

Evernote just got too greedy for me.
