And they wonder why people download films when it’s costing up to £16 a ticket each ! A family of 4 is pushing £50 to watch a film !!!!

Would be great if it was the same price at Cheshire oaks. Heat.
good price......but our local odeon might be a bit of a dump but its only £4 a ticket
Surely it's any film any day. As that reads to me £4.99 watch as many films as you like.
Heat, unfortunately not in my area.

It's the way Vue worded it, so give it a go , see how many you can watch in a day.
Works with Meerkat Movies too.
What's Cardiff playing at?!
Good time to do it, when when there is nothing on at the cinema.

The pricing applies to everyday. The Farnborough cinema near me has been this price since it's opened.
Good deal, heat added, but unfortunately not in one near me. Reclining seats sounds pretty good also.

It's been this price at the Lowry for at least 4 months (maybe even longer), they are probably just doing a slow roll out to other cinemas. There's plenty of good films out now, but it will stay at this price going forward for when there is something you want to watch.
Came across to read this. Saw few deals posted here for individual locations, so though this might help if you’re happens to live nereby these locations.

It's a pretty decent deal considering, a standard adult ticket can cost up to £16 at some London branches - and that's without the popcorn and drinks.

THE offer applies to all 2D films, every day. Here's a list of the participating cinemas

Nothing near me - but good deal!
Hopefully this is an on-going deal and not just for a couple of weeks.
For the first time in 9 years I might go again.
And as the legendary Kermode says, Toode is almost always better than Threede.

PS Hello to Jason Isaacs!
Not sure if posted - but if you are not in one of those locations get a £1 tastcard trial - then get VUE tickets for £7 (2d) each - e codes last 6 months. Then cancel the taste card

Meerkat Movies still cheaper (on Tuesdays and Wednesdays), as long as your party is a multiple of two.
I dragged the wife along to see Star Wars at the Gateshead Vue yesterday and it only cost £7.49 for the two of us.
The screen was good, the seats comfy and the sound was very good (and the parking was free). Far better than our local Cineworld.

4 cinemas in my city - 3 of them charge flat rate £4 for any movie (£2 each with Meerkat Code) and Premier even have a £10 family ticket.

We go regularly. Best way to see movies & its affordable
Edited by: "Gollywood" 7th Feb
Unless they've changed it, Meerkat Movies is still compatible with this. So two tickets for £5 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays!

This was definitely the case at the Hull Vue a few months ago, not sure if it's changed since.

What cinema? It would cost people a fortune where I live in Surrey, last time I went to the Odeon it was £14.00 a ticket, two parents and two children under 12, it's discounted at £42

Cardiff has at least 2 cinemas where it's £4 a ticket anyday of the week (and one of them is Vue)

Who buys popcorn and a drink at the cinema?

I always make Lidl microwave popcorn before I leave, it is microwaved in a nice paper bag suitable for bringing along. 3 for £1.

Not only is cinema popcorn horrifically expensive, you also have to queue for ages to get it because there is no longer a ticket desk so the same guy selling popcorn is selling tickets as well. I had to get a bottle of water in Cineworld recently during the film. Nipped out, left the kids behind, queued ten minutes and paid £2.50 for 500ml. Next time I will bring the sistema bottles full of water.
Still £3.99 for a bag of chocolates

I was thinking the same! They couldn't pay me to go to the one in Birkenhead...

Take your own.
Purley Vue is £4.99 on Monday and £5.99 every other day of the week, think they are competing with the new Empire in Sutton which is re-opening next week!

One film per ticket unless you sneak into another cinema after your film has finished but that would be rather naughty. 🤔

I now see at least one film per week at my local Vue previously it was one film every year. I guess it’s working let’s hope they don’t increase the prices.
No love for Cambrdge. meh. (voted hot as good deal for those that live near one thats offering)

Epsom Odeon is that price, which is why the new Empire in Sutton and the Vue is Purley is better value.

But, you have to go to Sutton and Purley...

Premier cinemas opened in Cardiff priced at £4 all day every day creating a bit of a price war. Most if not all cinemas are now £4 a ticket to compete.
Been £4 for as long as I can remember in the Vue in Cardiff and you can still use the Meercat codes on a Tuesday and Wednesday. With a family of 5 it makes a huge difference!

Even better that there is a Tesco Metro a few doors down to stock up on snacks as well.
