Everyday offers free cashback.
If you are offered any sort of cashback. Ie if you are offerred 10% cashback on a purchase. you do not really have to make a purchase. Just withdraw cashback to the minimum value. Ie if you have morrisons offer of £4.00 cashback then do your normal shopping. Like buy a loaf of basic bread and a 2 litre carton of milk and at the checkout be it manned or auto ask for £50 in cashback. The system will sense this as a purchase and award you £4.00 cash back.

Oh wow I think I will open an account. Im forever cashbackin!

Good find. I'm surprised Lloyds can't (or don't care to) distinguish between a purchase and cashback. Been only offered cashback for retailers I don't use, so will give this a go.

This is an ongoing thing. If for example argos gave cashback this would work there as well.

At morrisons buy something for £1 and then withdraw £50 cash back. This should show up as cash back in a day or two. You really havent got anything to loose. Also as long as the homebase branch you use gives cashback.

No morrisons for me only homebase. I wonder if I buy something and return it will work?

Hi, sorry if I am being a bit thick here can anyone if I have the right idea. Hubby works away in the week and takes his money for food etc out weekly. He goes to morrisons daily. I have just logged in to my internet banking and it says 5 % cashback on purchase amount up to 100 quid. So if my hubby went into morrisons and spent say a fiver with goods in the basket ( which he does daily anyway) then say had 95 quid as cashback. Then I would have the maximum cashback which would be a 5 quid. Just texted hubby and told him but before my morning coffee I can't think straight ha ha x

If you are an online banker, open your current account. It should open on your statement page. At the top of the page are some other page options, like standing orders, direct debits etc. everyday offers should be there too.

If you need more help feel free to pm me.

Can only request £50cashback at checkouts max.

UK & International payments
Direct Debits and standing orders

Sorry, just double checked, since they added option of lifestyle benefits it has moved to the bottom of the account tools menu on the left hand side of the statement page of my current account. So it could be there for you too...(sorry again)

utter **** of a company

I do this all the time, buy a bag of chocolates on offer for £1, get £50 cashback. Buy another bag and get another £50 of cashback. £10 for free and only takes a couple of minutes.

It's very kind of you, many thanks

Finally found it however had to activate it first, showing "You have no new offers. To receive new offers use your Lloyds Bank debit or credit card when you shop."

Have never used their card, seems the offer is not for me oO

It's the retailer funding the cashback, not the bank. The retailer has agreed to fund a certain level of cashback based on a level of customer spend. The bank only has access to the total sale value and card number used so it cannot differentiate between a genuine purchase of goods and a partial cashback transaction. It will probably work with a sale and refund - picking up the sale and ignoring the refund. The banks actually get a small commission from the retailer for every transaction so they won't fix it until retailers complain about the problem.

the bank will probably stop this now you have brought it to their attention well done

Just on the subject of cash back does everyone already know that asda (possibly other places too) have stopped offering cash back as a rule but if you ask then it's still allowed?

Most of them don't ask you now. Don't understand when the banks charge them a fortune for handling their cash you would think they would be glad to get rid of as much as they can.

Pizza express offer here, none anywhere near either. Useless!

But retailers also get charged fees for card transactions, not sure

if or what they get charged for debit cards.

Sorry I hit the submit button on my app before I'd finished typing and can't find how to edit my first post.

Yes hubby found that out yesterday, still a cashback back for nothing as it's money that would of been spent amd withdrawn anyway.

It works with the Bank of Scotland too

So I'm guessing it works for Halifax Bank also

Is there a limit, could it not be done over & over?

You should be able to as long as you are not over you withdrawal limit. Usually £200 - £300 per day.
