Almost the lowest it has ever been (£214) - and it hasn't been this low in a long while on Amazon at least.

Cracking deal considering 1060 prices have been increasing lately. And best warranty with EVGA.
Good deal heated.

Merry Xmas
Great price

Even cheaper than anything on Amazon warehouse for same spec
This any difference to the full size card?
All units of this card shipped since 1/11/2016 have the BIOS update that fixed thermal issues.

Just in case you get a card that had been sitting in a warehouse since before then, EVGA have this page with FAQ and BIOS downloads: evga.com/the…od/

Yea I'm also interested whats the difference between 1 and 2 fan card. So far been looking at 2 fan only, but this deal is pretty good to miss it.

Yeah, fullsized one runs cooler and overclocks better

It runs hotter than a dual fan card. But that doesn't mean it is a particularly hot card, it isn't. Everything is relative.

Yeah, fullsized one runs cooler and overclocks better

'overclocks better' do you have any proof of this? any sources? overclocking is the silicon lottery and most 1060's are within 5c of each of the cooling.

don't say things like that if you dont know what you are saying
Don't know much about this card itself, but a gtx 1060 6gb for £220 is a banging deal. it performs as good/better then a gtx 970 which was considered a great price at £250ish when it was new.

It's good they do that, i rather see lots of people have a good deal then one arsehole buy up the stock to sell at a higher price.

Yeah I’ve got proof:
No.1 - heat sink is smaller than that of a full-sized card.
No.2 - only one fan on the card as opposed to 2 or 3 on full-sized card.
No.3 - nvidia turbo boost 3.0 adjusts clock speeds based on the temperature of GPU and throttles down With increased temperature.

I’ll let you make the conclusion yourself. Bet you feel silly now :

1. The heat sink doesn't matter if they're still sitting at equal temperatures (go check several benchmarks).

2. Same as above.

3. Same as above.

You are not very intelligent and know little about hardware.

There’s no need to insult people and get all defensive if you have been proven wrong. What’s next? You gonna tell me that you can get the same OC with stock intel CPU cooler as with Noctua nhd15?

The fact that you know nothing about heat dissipation and the way you OC Pc components tells me that you are not that intelligent yourself.

The stock intel cooler wouldn't keep a CPU at the same temperature as a noctua nh-d15, the 1060 6gb is a low powered card and rarely will reach past 65c, the same as most 1060's.

Just going to slightly step in here. For smaller sized cards for more powerful chips like 1070 or higher it is true it will noticeably affect oc. However if you look at approximate cooling area of heatsink with approximate maximum oc wattage of the card (for a safe daily air oc) bearing in mind airflow from fan there is more than adequate cooling especially if you increase the stock fan curve a little bit. So you are both kind of right but not totally.

Would I notice much difference if I upgrade my gtx970 to this?

Not much, but some.and the extra vram is useful just YouTube 970 Vs 1060 and you will see differences

And the 970 can be sold for 120-140 used so it's probably worth it as you have another three yr warranty then !

I've gone from a 970 to a 1060 and for VR it's slightly better. It's more like a 980, but draws less electricity

Amazing deal for a 6GB!
Bought, thanks OP. Just need to purchase a 1800x Ryzen and my build is finally done.

Why 1800x and not the 1700 out if interest?
Sold all the stock at this price it seems.
Just to Weigh in on the Small card vs big card overclocking and heating debate, I have a rig made up of 6 ITX pulse rx 570 sapphires cards and I get 930 h/s from each card overclocked with temps at lows of 48 and highest @ 57-58. Ether mining I get about 28.5-28.8 MH/s with optimised bios of course.

Seems like it, i was stupid enough to think to myself "will buy whole build with fresh head in the morning" and... ofc it's gone...

I'd like to have a go at this. How do you go about building a rig with 6 graphics cards? What is the best bang for buck for mining? Are you making much from doing it? I'd like to mine some Zcash
