There isn't even that many 1070's for below £400, at least not 'decent' models, so you think a 1070ti should be sub £400 too? lul
Hahhahahah, 1070ti is better than 1080 for mining.
But this one is expensive.

theres a 1080 currently on hukd for £449.. given most people buy a gpu for gaming rather than mining it makes more sense to get a 1080 than a 1070 ti

I never said that was the issue, but you claiming a 1070ti should be sub £400 is a bit much.

I bought a watercooled 1070ti (cos I like buying stuff) and it performs better than most 1080s in benchmarks, so expecting them to be sub 400 is a bit daft.

1070ti RRP was £419, I wouldn't consider buying one for almost 450 pounds to be a "HOT" deal, and this one is not even a 'nice' model like someone above mentioned.

personally a deal would be:

1080 for sub £450
1070ti for around £400 or less
1070 for £350 tops

but it's true the prices were driven waaaay too high by miners and alleged components shortages (gpu makers and retailers greed)

It's dependent of what you consider 'nice' an EVGA card is 'nice' to me because it's one of the better brands.

RRP means nothing anymore. Just like this time last year 1070's were 330-380 easily purchasable, not so much now, and very rare.
I got a EVGA 1070 SC from Amazon for £337 in October so might be worth keeping a lookout regularly, this seems very expensive...I also thought my card was expensive but maybe it wasn't.
£30 extra or less would buy you a 1080, you have to be braindead to pay this for a 1070 ti
This is a great deal, with 8% off with corporate perks, better price than getting same evga 1070.
This really isn't a bad price considering EVGA make great cards, most 1070's and 1070 ti's are either sold out or stock cooling. There's little point talking about imaginary RRP's and "how much they should cost" because that's not how the GPU market is anymore. Cheers OP, ignore the haters!
