MIS-PRICED?..

No, there's no such word.
Sweet, ordered. Probably gonna' stick the Hybrid AIO on it.

Edit - Cancelled the order now and went for the STRIX instead.

Like the weather this is a scorcher!
oO must be a miss-price.
Why are people paying so much for GPUs and RAM these days!?
Lets all boycott the prices and bring the market back to reality

Never-the-less Good find longback2
Excellent price. I paid £730 for mine on release.

For 4K gaming on a single GPU. Also the drop of pound against the dollar means the cards price is actually the same as previous generations but the exchange rate negatively effects spending power on products sold to UK distributors in dollars.

LOL... corrected!..
More price drops ready for before AMD VEGA hits end of this month
Hmm it's a LOT of cash but from what I've seen the best priced 1080TI by some margin and positively ideal for those with 4K displays. How is the founders edition compared to the aftermarket ones? I'd imagine as usual one fan on a card this powerful is far from ideal? And probably lowest clocked of the 1080TIs? Still think the founders edition cards look cool mind but is that worth £580...

Still voted hot for being the cheapest by a fair bit....
Wooow!! This is 🔥

Why you do this to me? I already bought the gtx 1070 last night from amazon (same, 2-3 weeks wait). I have to stop visiting hukd.
Awesome price... oO
Ordered this earlier was gonna put a HUKD in but decided not to as all 1080ti's seem to get cold

Grab one of these, put a NZXT G10/G12 on it and buy a used AIO. Low temps and better OC's. It cost me about £60 on top. £582.20 + £60 = £642.20 Water cooled!

or custom water cool it like my 970 currently is
Msi seahawk down to £733 if you want a prepare watercooled option. It was £879 yesterday.
Ordered one, also ordered a STRIX one (£666) and the FTW3 (£666).

Can't decide which I'm most interested in. From an OC perspective as with all 10 series cards there doesn't seem to be much difference in capabilities.

Having read up on this, I'm getting an FE and a hybrid kit.

Wouldn't you be better off just getting the strix as it has better lighting and the cost isnt much difference when getting the hybrid as well and saves a bit of hassle or is there a lot of performance gain to be made by using the hybrid kit

Pascal is voltage limited which is why most cards play within +/-5%. Hybrid means better lower thermals and noise and more consistent boost clocks, seems FE will run 50deg under hybrid.

In short it'll outperform the AIB cards ruuning air.
Water cooling doesnt necessarily mean better overclocks. You might get a GPU on the board that just needs a lot of volts to reach higher clock speeds and those voltage levels might be out of the regular range allowed for the GPU.
How long is the warranty on this? Can't see it on the product page

Of course it's down to the lottery, but the 1080ti is very much running at spec where AIB are concerned. Water/hybrid will ALWAYS perform better than air with all things being equal.

Numerous reviews (like GN) have demonstrated that elaborate PCB, trails, VRM or the number of 8-pin have little to no impact with the Ti. The chips themselves aren't binned either so there's no difference between low/top end, it's primarily just cooling

Generally always?
Can you fit an ek water block on this since it's founders edition?
Amazed people drop 600 notes on a gpu , what game even needs this power or is worth it, my 770 still plays most games at 1080p fine and it cost me 70 bob off ebay years ago.

Who wants fine at 1080p when you can have ultra at 4k !!

This would be wasted on me as all I play nowadays on my PC is rocket league

Yes, but 1080P is really on the low end of the scale and a increasing number of people are upgrading to screens beyond 1080P and don't want to be stuck running 1080P on them. That said it is a stupid amount for one component and I personally tend to buy in the mid range, like the GTX1060 kind of level, which can still power a surprising number of games at 4K with careful settings tweaks....

The same applies for buying a Tesco Finest sandwich over a bog standard Value one, right? Or a car, a bicycle, a house, anything material.

Choice is a fine thing.

Edited by: "The_Hoff" 7th Jul 2017
lol the bog standard non ti GTX 1080 FE included in the Prime 20% warehouse deal is £610 2nd hand before the 20% off.

Always google any item included in the 20% Prime, some items cost less elsewhere, even with the 20% off

I think when you work hard all year you deserve to treat yourself to a luxury item. I mean why go to Blackpool when you can go to Vegas not that's there anything wrong with blackpool just Vegas is better if you can afford it

Thank you, I'm glad that you got him to change that sentence.
I was a little disappointed that he didn't thank you properly, though.
