Not everyone needs super efficient PSUs

I run a 450W Corsair 80plus white for a i5 8400 with GTX1070 and it's perfectly fine. Draws about 260W at full load.

Great deal for 3 year warranty PSU.

This is actually a really good PSU, I run a i5-4670k OC'd to 4.4GHz, 16GB of RAM OC'd to 2133MHz and a stock SAPPHIRE R9 380X NITRO, all stable

It's not always nessesary. I say buy any PSU as long as it's branded and atleast £20.

Avoid the unbranded Chinese ones for less then £20 on eBay at all costs.

I suppose it all depends what you define as a brand. 🤔
I have the 600W version of this and it's a cracking PSU. Fits perfectly in my Dell XPS 8700 and powers a GTX 970 no problem!

Protection circuitry, components, build quality, warranty all come before that in my book.
This has all those, and the efficiency under typical loads is fine.

If you're that bothered about electricity, a shorter shower or less water in the kettle makes more difference.

Cracking price for a decent PSU ...
