Novatech are at it again. Before I even get into detail - Highly would NOT recommend using this for an expensive gaming build. If you're cutting costs don't cut on a quality PSU.

Price has been reduced by 23%, was originally around £40 and trending the same on Amazon etc. It's not Bronze rated, but if there was no point in it they wouldn't make them! It would be more than adequate for testing, or cheap non-gaming builds. Buy at your own discretion!

Happy hunting!

Got the exact same psu and its been running my R9 Fury and i7 4790k perfectly fine for the last few months. Not sure why cold, unless someone can find a 80+ 500w psu cheaper.

Thanks Ham, appreciate the heat.

This should be hot cold cuz someone can't afford it yet

I bought the 600w version of this last year for £30. I know people say always pay for expensive PSUs but running a slightly overlocked 970 and i7 4970 it has never missed a beat and is 100% stable.

I bought a 450W Corsair one last month for £40, which I used to troubleshoot my dying PSU. Can't say I've ever bought this one, but I know EVGA make good PSU's. Not sure if I would trust a £30/£40 pound PSU on that rig, but I guess its worked for you so far.

Get an aero cool integrator 500w for 30 on Amazon which is bronze rated with excellent reviews

And before the moan squad come posting, the 600w version has been reviewed by jonnyguru and was noted to be solid.

Evga don't make their own capacitors. Their g2 and gs PSUs are made by seasonic amd superflower. So you can't rely on the brand name entirely.

It's not a bad price but there just is a lot better out there.
