Sheesh! you must be a youngster, mine had a 40mb drive :-D

Great deal!

It might also be worth noting that all EVGA cards come with a 90-day upgrade period. You can swap you're card + the cash difference for a newer, more powerful one anytime within the first 3 months

damn right it's a good price it's £260 in most places

Yeah just bought 1 after Buying a card on ebay and being conned. GRR so pissed off guy had over 100 feedback and was powerseller he must have conned about 50 people last weekend. EBAY IS THE DEVIL. No chance of getting my money back either. Im glad this is 640mb version as i was goign to buy a 320 for £172 with 1 yr warranty. /me cheers up a little Voted Hot

Oh and ive bought one but the inventory still shows as 2 available

a lot of money for something that's going to be obsolete in a few years

Voted hot - great deal - BUT beware of a few driver issues still remain with teh 8800's (I know, I've got one!)

thats why you sell on at a minimal loss and upgrade as you go:thumbsup:

It's a computer component, everything becomes 'obsolete' within a few years, you want to have a good gaming experience (or have other uses for such a high end graphics card), this is the price you have to pay (well, actually about £50+ more everywhere else).

Tempted to buy one myself, I might convince myself tomorrow if they have any left.

Thanks C64 and welcome to HUKD's

Well looks like it was posted today hope they didnt make an error or i get a 320mb version

these seem to have sold out

They may come back instock ?!?

good deal. Out of my price range for a graphics card though.

More for serious gamers.

Thats not alot of money for a graphics card if anyone is thinking that. The ultra is around £300+

Cheapest Ultra i've seen are over £400 (EVGA one's going above the £500 range) - not that the ultra's are worth spending the money on over the GTX (which are around the £300 mark).

Hopefully these will come back in stock, i convinced myself i'd buy one, but unsuprisingly they'd sold out by the time I got around to ordering.

Got it today took 24hrs after despatch. Happy with it quite big mind you. Now im just waiting for the Q6600 GO chips

If it was 150.... can't justify spending anything that comes close to a games console. Now my 6600GT, that's lasted forever and was £60. hehe ;p

 No way. Surely these are future proof - like all PC and technology stuff :whistling:

Great price OP, voted hot.

Me too, I can't upgrade my system at all til those come in because I have a P4 AGP system at the moment and there'd be no point buying the rest in advance..

Ive got an asrock mobo it does suppost ddr 1 which i have in it and also ddr 2 which i have also bought for my new system.
Im running an agp g card in it also but it also has a pci express slot in it but im not going to bother ripping out my old stuff im just building a new system with a spare pc that is still quite decent but I just wanted a quad core.

Q6600 and GTS 640mb system for £600 with a new shiny antec 900 case. All that im waiting for is a tuniq 120 cooler, Q6600 GO, p35 mobo then we're ready to rock. Its hard not to buy the Q6600 B3 chips but thats been 2 weeks now may as well wait a bit longer.
