I just brought one for my new PC Gaming rig. I believe it to be a good price. Hope it helps someone.

So you spent close to 400 quid on this when you could of had a Rtx 2070 for 50-70 pounds more? which is newer, faster and will hold its value much better in the future and have better driver support, it just doesn't make any sense to me, i would of understood if you got one for 340 or less but at this price the deal is about 5 months too late.

If i were you i would cancel it and bag a rtx 2070 preferably in the black friday sales

It's within my budget. Yes a lower price would be great, but that's the best price right now. Hence why I posted it on here. Wish I hadn't bothered.

Agree

The 2070 is overpriced but that just means that the current 1070s are massively overpriced.

Should be 300ish

Just wait a week, a month or what ever it takes to save enough to buy a rtx 2070 i mean its just 60 pounds more after all, the rtx 2070 is a much much better value proposition than any 1070, 1070 ti or 1080 has on sale unless you can get one of this for close to 310-330 or a 1080 for 350 to 370 max, i see no point for their existence.

Don't take it in bad way it was just a friendly advice for your benefit I get nothing out of it no matter what you go with, i wouldnt be surprised to see the rtx 2070 drop to 430 range in black friday sales which is just a month away.

To be fair this really is one of the best bang for buck offers on at the moment. But that could change within a few weeks or days even... for the reasons discussed in every GPU deal.
Voted HOT because EVGAs 3 year warranty applies and if something goes wrong in a year or more there's a good chance of an upgrade.
I'm personally holding out until black friday though. Good deal if you absolutely can't wait for a few weeks.

Likewise, I'm in the market for a new gpu too. It'll just depend which gpu has the best offer around black Friday.
i would have got a 1080 instead for the same money.
Personally I would try and pick up a 1080 for this price (they seem to pop in and out of £400 bracket). Performance between the 1080 and 2070 is extremely close (2070 seems to be around 5% quicker on average - unless you play in Vulcan (doom) where it’s quite a bit more). The 1080 possibly has the better chance with future 4K gaming with its higher memory bandwidth - which shows in some current games at 4K). But.... 2nd hand values will no doubt be a bit better with the currently overpriced 2070.
I had this card in my watch list, and it made this price a couple of times. Main driver for this card, for me, was the 'silent' spec, if it is as quiet as the reviews say then I can find nothing to compare it to. A faster spec card for similiar money is not a comparison if sound levels are taken into account - and that's the unique selling point of this card.
Hmm, I recently got an EVGA 1070ti FTW2 FOR 340.. 30 days up on the 14th. Can't decide if I should return and wait for 2070 deals or just keep it.
Still haven't bought it mind - I only need a 1080 spec card but noise levels are important to me and I just want this to drop a little more, hopefully soon!
I keep checking but unfortunately it's been out of stock for a while now - since the day after it was posted. Otherwise a good deal:)
price now £380.39 and in stock
