Fantastic price. Not seen it below £800 before. Snap it up quick if you want it.

The sign of the beast!

I'm GPU less after I undersold my 980ti FTW.. Ordered the 1070 tonight but couldn't resist this (and still have my 1070 on Amazon .DE if that ever materialises!!).

Will mean a rethink on case though

I think the consensus is that the 1080ti's don't overclock so it's a waste of better parts.

Wow just thinking of the things I could do with £666

The 1070 I bought a while back had struggled to fit in an Antec P80 case, this 1080 looks the size of the Titanic!

Nice graphics card? I'm more I interested the price and set numbers oO

I believe it's got 3x 10cm fans. It really is a behemoth.
Although all aftermarket 1080 Ti cards have massive coolers. Big Pascal needs a lot of thermal mass to keep cool.

Gone back up and also oos

My SC 1080Ti does over 2Ghz and 5.5Ghz on the memory.

HOT buy one

Hopefully this will sell out before temptation gets the better of me!

Should I remortgage my house or sell my first born, decisions decisions

The ASUS OC GTX1080ti is the same price. Also OOS, but you can still order it.

What is going on with these strange prices.

I think selling your first born may be the best option xD eventually you might want to rent out!

Miners buying up all mid range cards, but don't want high end, so companies bringing high end prices down a bit to give gamers some relief cos they can't get mid range ATM. Just a theory. Probably wrong. Either way they been making a killing lately off the miners so they can make this adjustment on the high end to keep their gamer customer base happy whilst still turning a profit.

Or maybe to temp people waiting for vega

Im guessing its more likely nvida has some info on amds new vega cards (to be announce at end if this month) and they are trying to shift stock/ price their cards more competetively before amd announces.

I don't think this is an nvidia thing, everywhere else still sells these for ~£750

Nvidia card may be great for gaming but not as efficient as AMDs for mining... By quite a bit!

Amazon prime sale next week too...

Get a coolermaster HAF X. I got it.
A monster case for a monster graphics card.

Can someone give me a basic summary of this versus the Founders version that is also posted on here today?
Looking at building a high spec setup but there becomes a level of stats that I don't know if I'll notice the difference?

In a nutshell, they're identical unless being pushed to their limits in which case an aftermarket card will maintain its clock better, the FE card will throttle slightly to keep thermals in check.

So, if you're playing at 1440p there's probably nothing in it barring a few DB extra noise, but at 4K ultra you'll notice 5-10fps at the top end.

Thanks OP, this will go nicely with the MSI M5 motherboard I bought last week.

Just need to find a nice ram/cpu and psu deal, and then try my first custom water loop

I would love to, but you don't know the trouble i had getting it into my case. The bloody thing is longer than the evga 1060 ftw it was replacing and deeper, so i had to remove my cases quick release card system because it was getting in the way!
