I'm sure it'll get cold, but it may benefit some - especially those who know these will pay for themselves in 9 months with current rates...

U can get a 1070TI for as little as £440.. cold
deleted579599th Feb

Well when it drops from 20k to under 6k in 1 month that is a crash.

Bitcoin has done that since it started losing 40-50% then climbing past it's previous high. Anyways if it does crash which it hasn't done yet. I made a ton of money

People said that when it went to £100 then dropped back to £20
People said that when it was £1000 and dropped back to £200

They were wrong back then, just like you're wrong now...

Voted cold because £736 is still a rip off, I got my 1080Ti for £580 just after launch. The only people who buy these at this price are miners, but even for mining this is a rip off when you can get 1080s / 1070TIs for ~£420 if you're patient and keep your eyes open

Ah, the illusion of the masses that people with money got there by being wasteful and not caring what they paid for goods and services.

If mining is your main source of income, buying 55 cards at £736 increases your income by 10% over buying 50 cards at £810. Do you not get that?

If cyrpto ever becomes mainstream, banks and other large comapnies will simply start their own blockchain crytpo currencies. Bitcoin has no future hence why it is all over the news at the minute - to allow the guys at the top of the pyramid to get out with maximum profits.

That's simply not true. If it were, Santander for example amongst others would have done so instead of signing up to use the Ripple network . I heard the same story's when Bitcoin was at $1000 then dropped to $400.(Aprx) and every drop since. The media are scaremongering. 2 months ago the media were saying Cryptos were the future and now it's all doom and gloom. The stock market is struggling at the moment because of uncertainty factors the same as crypto but both will recover.
The simple fact is no one knows what will happen with Cyrptocurrency, anyone who says otherwise is either lying or an idiot.

I don't predict on a daily basis, it is too volatile. I have been shorting it long term.

Depends on your definition of long term. I've made significant profit margin. The short is now closed but will reopen again if there is any decent bounce.

You missed my point. The time you spent bargain hunting could be used moving money, making business deals making more money. Why waste 1 hour looking for a deal saving £50 when you can spend your hour making £100? Unless of course you dont have a ton of money
Smadmad20 h, 8 m ago

Because everyone loves a bargain.

Its not a bargain if you can make £200 an hour but you loose your hour bargain hunting to save £50

But if you're making £200 an hour mining, you're not here to buy one card - you're here to buy a hell of a lot more.

If you have a notification set up on the app, it'll take 10 minutes to save £800 or so for every 10 cards. Failure to understand this is why the rich get richer whilst the rest are stuck in a rut.

Also, its not just about savings, its about finding cards that are in stock. A HUKD notification can save hours of trawling through the internet looking for cards and can alert you to retailers you may not have considered checking - the various country-specific versions of Amazon being a prime example.

You talk about rich getting richer, it happens cause they use their money to make more money using multiple businesses and making more connections. You have your head stuck in mining, I highly doubt you make £200 an hour mining nor you have a ton of money. If so, you would have someone else checking HUKD for you as it would cost you less to pay them to do things for you than to spend your own time which is worth much more. Time you could have spent making business deals worth millions, but you would rather have that £800 savings in exchange for your time
