It's simply the best RTX 2060 you can get, there's an extensive test comparing six brands and this came out on top. Quiet and fast.

I'd personally go for a Vega 56 at £249, but this is close in price, and if you want to avoid overclocking/put minimal effort in, it's a good card to buy.

Vega 56 available for £200 on ebuyer Ebay store. No idea why anyone in their right mind would spend an extra £80 buying this 2060 when it performs worse.

The Vega is big, extremely power hungry and noisy, it won't be an option for a lot of builds. Plus if you've a Gsync monitor, you're locking in to NVidia.
Cold, there was a 2060 for £250 in the eBay 15% off all sellers that happened a month or so ago. Wasn't this exact one but they all perform within a couple % of each other anyway.

I know this may be the cheapest this exact moment, but it seems kind of ridiculous that these are actually dearer than they were when they should be getting cheaper with the new super series out now....

Big yes but power hungry and noisy? Not necessarily. If you undervolt it which is what any vega owner should do it will run cool and quiet. Mine runs at gtx 1080 performance at mid 50c.

Also didn't they start updating monitors recently to include more gpus?

Edit: it was nvidia who allowed freesync on initially gsync only monitors. So yes if you have a gsync monitor double check as it may now support freesync.

Yeh, without the 20% off, it is listed at almost 2060S prices.

Pretty silly.

Remaining 2060's will have to come down in price and stocks of 2070/2080 could well be sold of very cheap at some retailers i reckon.

Look for example how much stock OCUK have of the 2070 -

overclockers.co.uk/pc-…070

Priced more than the 2060S with some at 2070S prices.

Something will have to give and they will clear stock at good prices at some point.

Loads of 2080's also -

overclockers.co.uk/pc-…080

none of those will sell now that the 2070s is like £150 cheaper and performs almost the same.

Hold off for the price drops following the 2080 super release and when the pre-orders are all fulfilled for the supers, we should see the original 20xx cards suffer a decent reduction.

Yup. Too much stock to sell off and they make no sense at current prices.

Personally, i'm hoping for a ~£300 2070 as they get sold off.

Good price.

Got to appreciate the optimists thinking the release of the £375+ 2060 super is gonna make the 2060 drop

Tbh I wouldn't compare this to the MSI 56, it's up against the Pulse which is currently £248. The EVGA card is incredibly quiet, it's the best of the 2060s, just as the Pulse is the best of the 56s.

I'd still got Vega 56, but it's not an overwhelming choice. I can see why someone who just wants plug and play would enjoy the 2060 EVGA.

I may be mistaken, but I've never seen a verga 56 in the same 'mini' format either.
For many, there simply isn't a choice, and this is the cheapest price going?

Yeah, I'm not sure why people don't like this deal. An asus 2060 rtx got posted a few weeks ago for £287, it's an inferior card, and it still got 400 heat. This is a better model, I think everyone is in Vega 56 fever at the moment haha

That's not going to happen unless Nvidia really feel generous...
The 2060 are all still priced around £300 despite the launch of the 2060 super so why would the 2070 drop?
This is the best rtx 2060? Really though? Is it actually better than all the dual fan ones? I know its got a big heatsink but its gotta get loud with a single fan?
