Cheapest by far, the next cheapest for the same specs is the corsair rm series which is £92 at Ebuyer.

If you know about PC components, this should receive the hots!

Predecessor received 500 hots on Hot UK deals at £64.99

Just purchased one, thought it was worth a share

Sounds interesting, but what's the price and who's the merchant (missing from deal title)?

Justify please, I'll learn something that way... Why pay an extra £24? Plus if I was to post a psu for £87 do you think it'll receive hot by anyone?

G1 has 5 year warranty while the G2 has 10year warranty,
G1 doesn't have sleeved cable the G2 does,
G1 has slightly smaller fan at 135mm as opposed to 140mm fan in the G2
G2 is fully fitted with Japanese capacitors as opposed to just being on the mainboard PCB like on the G1
G2 has 100 more watts being a bit more future proof if you wanna upgrade to more power demanding parts

5 years will do me Plus 650w was already futureproofing my build, as mine was recommended a 450w psu.
I think it depends on the individual. Although G2 is the obvious winner here, it is also £25 more and more unnecessary wattage.

Accoding to the PSU review database:
realhardtechx.com/ind…htm
750 G2 is SuperFlower (arguably the best PSU OEM slightly better than even Seasonic), whille 650W G1 is made by FSP whose quality is seldom top-notch (although if these are based on their Aurora platform they are good supplies).

Yeah I saw that before I posted the deal, it is incredibly cheap, and I would expect the price to rise.

So I purchased now, before inflation takes the better of it.

You can compare the price of this PSU with other sellers.

They are both top deals.
What I would like to see though is some 1000 to 1200w ones. You never see them on here

Don't forget the G2 has a Fanless mode (completely silent) when pulling under 240W. I have the G2, it's worth the extra money!

Yeah I'm gonna get the G2 as well. The high wattage and huge warranty means I shouldn't have to buy a PSU for a long time. That's worth an extra £27 in my eyes.

Thanks for that North London. I use that but they are often behind some of the lower watt deals on here so figure they might be the same for the high end ones too.

Antec are trying to downgrade me with my RMA even though its took them 8 months to do it so it looks like I might have to buy.

Can anyone please recommend a reasonably cheap ATX motherboard to go with an i5-2500k cpu?

Either my PSU or mobo is fried so going to buy both!

Check pc part picker. As an unlocked cpu you have, purchase in the z** series.
