I would try to avoid EVGA if you can.

And go with who exactly? Corsair? their psu's aren't any better, at least Evga stand by their warranties unlike Corsair and many other manufacturers. If i were buying a psu it would definitely be an Evga one.

£107.81 on Amazon with prime, so looks like good a deal.

They were the first company to give 10 year warranties with their G2 line. My one is going strong. Unlike my Corsair PSU which would restart my PC when playing games within the first month I bought it.

Corsair = Garbage tier for anything other than their premium lines. EVGA all the way.

Amazon says not released yet, so don't know when they will be send it. Don't have OCUK free delivery, Moreover I'm going to build my system in next few weeks. So I'll keep my order with CCL and don't mind spending £4 extra.
My local pc store hard to beat on some stuff but usually only by a few quid.. I remember when it was at the back of an old mill in Bradford before they built their current place that was a long long time ago... Heat btw

Cool story Bro.

Disregard the quoted comment comment, this is a top quality psu for your desktop
I bought the 650W G2 from Amazon last month and very happy with it; just under £59.

Totally agreed. I have EVGA power supplies in all my rigs. They are silent when idling as the fan doesn't engage until loaded. Also their OEM Leadex design can't really be bettered other than by Seasonic.
All manufacturers make good and bad PSUs, you need to check the tier and OEM. Also the 1000W GQ was £88 last month (I posted it) and the 850W GQ was about £80 so these have been lower priced before. EVGA’s PSUs do seem to be good, I’ve not had a problem before - funnily only issues I’ve had have been with Seasonic P series and an Aerocool (don’t say a word)!

Hmmm.. I wouldn't really criticise super flower's leadex platform that a lot of them are based on.... ?
Cheers. My RM650x has just gone bang (that's the second one). I'll flog that when I get a replacement.

That's a 'no' to Corsair from now on and hello EVGA.
Built my PC last month. Got an EVGA GQ gold 750w and it's been brilliant so far. Quiet as a mouse even under load and the zero fan low load option is silent, obviously.

I paid £85 from Amazon so heat for this.
