But when given a chance to save your daughter, you must enter a world filled with nightmares and discover the dark origins of a once-idyllic town to bring her back. Horrifying threats emerge from every corner as the world twists and warps around you. Will you face adversity head on with weapons and traps, or sneak through the shadows to survive?

This any good? Seems very strange to see a big title be 20 quid do soon …This any good? Seems very strange to see a big title be 20 quid do soon after release

I thought it was great. I really enjoyed the first game but it was far from perfect. Whilst playing this one I was looking for reasons to criticise it, but can't deny that I had a blast playing it through, so much so that I immediately played it through again which I don't do often. It has only taken a tentative step into open world design, often feeling like they've had loads of good ideas but only given us samples and not gone all-in on them, but I personally thought the evolution was a massive improvement on the original game. The gameplay is excellent, enemy and environment design mostly very cool, and the story definitely more refined than the first game.

Anyway, rambling now. Ultimately, as a big resident evil and survival horror fan in general, I had a great time with this game and it's easily worth £20. I'm glad they made a sequel and hope this one does well enough to keep the series going!

I think it's a good price, although if you're not going to play it immediately probably worth waiting for yet further price drops on this. Been out less than 2 months.

Nice review:-)

Completed both evil within games now both really Good! Steal at this price! Oh and glad I traded in my copy of EW2 yesterday for £20 at cex 😊

It's a buggy Bethesda game with ok combat, ammo is scarce but the spongey enemies ruin the enjoyment you would usually get from that, luckily the horrible AI can be easily exploited. Story is generic, stuck in hell, trying to find your girl. There's a mini game where you shoot coloured blocks and jump up punching the air while the cringey voiceover claims he's amazing, mere seconds after having a mental breakdown because of visions he has of his daughter with her face melting off

It's brilliant and I wouldn't pay any attention to the price drop. Bethesda haven't published or made a single bad game this generation and none held their price for long.

Can anyone confirm amazon.co.uk is selling an multi5-Edition (XBO) of the game? Thx

I'm on chapter 3 now and thoroughly enjoying it, it's far better than the 1st IMO.

Looks like they've bumped up the PS4 price

PS4 price is back down to £19.99.
