Hot deal for this Evolution Mitre Saw Stand with Extensions.

Next best price is £54.99 at Screwfix I think.

I cancelled my order for the £75 DeWalt stand and have gone for this.

Very good reviews.

Here's a video about it:

Thanks OP ordered one from warehouse deals for £41.40, may be worth adding they also have the mitre saw on offer for £52.49 in the daily deals amazon.co.uk/dp/…CZG
This website makes me spend all my money
Not ordered yet but so tempted by this...
Got one of these from Screwfix a while ago - hard to imagine getting anything better for this price, really impressive quality.

Really good stand, rock solid build quality.
I bought this stand 2 years ago and with hindsight should have paid the extra for the Dewalt especially if the difference is only £30. Its sturdy enough but too much 'play' in the arms when fully extended - just my opinion
According to the video the support arms are extra

Have you used the dewalt then also? It is double the price of this basically so that’s a hard sell for me.

I have the evolution rage so no such problems for me, however, I pretty sure they are universal mate.
I would read the one and two star reviews before purchasing or pop into your local Screwfix to see if it's true what the reviews say about the arms. I am sure though any alterations to the design would be easy to make perfec by the average DIY fan. I would be more concerned over not being able to use the saw at 45 degrees when using this stand as some have mentioned.

Meh, there is 15 1 and 2 star reviews discounting the one saying screwfix was cheaper out of 405. I think this will be ok adn if not Amazon will collect and refund no questions asked
Yes there are not many and overall the 4 and 5 star reviews outweigh the lower reviews but ........more often than not the lower reviews mean one or two things. Either they are very picky or if I was to buy the item, you can guarantee the one or two star reviews would relate to the product I bought. I am not over picky and these sort of items are not going to be precision engineering and if the arms were bent I would make them straight. Perhaps even better the original design but was a bit concerned that anything more than 40 degrees using evolution's own saw fouled the table.

This happens when people use the saw with screw in foot near the mitre lock knob. This foot stops the saw falling towards you when you have it on a flat bench / on the ground and pull the saw down to make a cut. To use it with the stand you have to unscrew the foot. This foot will foul the quick release brackets of the stand I think. Apparently it even tells you this in the instruction book/leaflet. So, this problem does not exist.

See my reply above, the problem described does not exist
Mine turned up today and it’s built like a brick $1ht house! Yeah I took it off co I opted to read the instructions. (Don’t judge me) also the is little tilt with the rollers and arms dependent on how the 6 hand screws are tightened but this obviously because the has to be room for the arms to slide in and out, rollers in and and out and also up and down. If you position them where you want them and hold wile tightening down no probs at all.
