I held of posting this until I had received the item, it was delivered next day and wear was negligible (especially on blade).

RRP of this is around £100. I've been after one for a while but secondhand a sliding mitre saw is around £70. Hence I thought this was worth a go.

I set it up, and had a little play with it and all seems fine. 90 warranty included.

Does the job, just built a bar for a mate using one. Cuts nice and clean, good blade. The laser isn't 100% reliable for lining cuts up is the only niggle with it but it's not essential to use it. The stand is only £50 and is well made. Would recommend.

Also put skirtings on with it, accurate degree cuts.

Cold! Bwahahahahaha.

FYI the refurb units are always available for this price, great saw for home use (I've gone for grade B before - usually £55 on eBay but not convinced any better than a grade C).

Completely agree, buy the stand and you wont be disappointed, solid bit of kit that folds away for storage for £50 delivered from Amazon: amazon.co.uk/Evo…XQG

good for occasional DIY and the price is just great, a good freud blade on my 305mm one cost just that!

Got one of these refurbs a while ago - great bit of kit. The bonus of buying a refurb is that it comes assembled ready to use and its clearly been fully manufacturer tested in its assembled state. Also highly recommend the jigsaw.

All gone

I bought one from eBay a few weeks back when they did the 20% off code, making it about 40.

been using it loads recently for building a work bench and other assorted DIY, brilliant but of kit, best 40 quid I've ever spent on a tool.

Did you align the laser? Should be fine once you have done that.

whats the rage 3 b? and the rage 3 s ? difference?

Sold out

3s slides, 3b doesn't

Great saw & highly recommend the workbench too.

thanks for that as missed out on eBay deal..

Thanks was looking for one for some house refits. Think got last one earlier. Bargain!

recieved mine today from evolution, missing hex key for blade change, and I would say that it looks worse than grade c to me, full of saw dust and glue residue from where someone has used masking tape on the fence, crack in plastic jaws on the table too,
will keep it as it was under £50 but its a used item in my eyes

I received mine and mine is well used too. However, mine had a big crack in the metal stand. I've written to them to see if this is what they consider a Grade C. I hope to return mine as I'm certainly not happy with it.

Did every one receive theirs ok and what were they like as keeping an eye for when come back into stock ?

A couple of others seemed to have issues but mine was good; seems to be luck of the draw.
