I would have thought that they were fit for purpose and that the blade could not come off unless there was a problem with the fixing. I was not able to see any reports on the WWW.

Talking out your Rs here as the thread rotation prevents it coming undone in operation!
These are normally items used for demos in store and get replaced because they are being superseded.

cant believe I need to point this out. but he was joking

Well it's a stupid comment that may put off a diyer getting a bargain.

Does this come with the blade that cuts steel etc or a standard blade.

The C grade says no accessories, is the blade counted as one?

Ah, OK then. I'm guessing the multipurpose blade means multiple materials, but suspect the diamond blade to be better for steel?

Hello YES the unit I bought is a complete working unit, came with blade attached, a new power lead, manual, clamp and arbor removal tool. I also bought the long front clamp, side supports and dust bag. I am very happy with it so far. It wizzed through scaffold boards and the steel strip.

Blade is standard (used) and included.

Ordered a Grade C too. I'm building a trailer so this will come in nice 'n' handy for the angle and box section .

Bargain for that price. Blades tend to go blunt pretty quickly, especially if cutting nails, but you can buy reducing bushes from eBay & get blades from Lidl when they have them on offer, usually 3 blades for £10. I have one of these & as long as you spend some time setting it up correctly it's pretty accurate.
Screwfix have also just started selling blades that will fit straight on these for £10 each.

Tesco Direct presently offer Evolution 210mm blades at £25.

Still not set mine up, been trying to tidy the shed up first!

Shop around for new blades, the screwfix ones are £10 and claim to cut metal (I've not tried one so can't comment on how good they are) or you can get 3 wood blades for between £10 (Lidl) & £15 (Amazon) and buy a reducing bush for a couple of quid from ebay.

If my saw was a little older I'd be tempted to buy another for a spare, can't go wrong at this price.

There is a You tube Vid showing the Diamond blade cutting very thick concrete slab. All the vids I have seen that show steel being cut with the S,A,W blade.

Mine arrived today . In very good condition indeed . Had the blade off to check condition , no lost or chipped teeth . Just had to re-align the laser and all was well . Great buy , thanks to the OP for this bargain .
