Be sure to chose the 230v/240v products as in above links, unless you want these for site work and require the 110v versions (also available at the same price).

These Evolution range of tools are very good for the money. The Stealth version of the Evolution tools, are the same as the "RAGE" ones, but with black colour branding. It seems people are put off by this and due to a lack of reviews for them, but they are otherwise the same. The Stealth circular saw only has one review currently, but if you check it, the person explains that this is the same as the RAGE and very good. I think Screwfix must have a surplus of the Stealth range in stock hence the deals.
Check the reviews for the Rage circular saw here for peace of mind:

This really is half price at £49.99 and a very good circular saw with good power. I have used the RAGE before and it did a fine job on some very thick wood cutting with accuracy and power.

The Mitre Saw is also reduced by £60. Again, I have used the RAGE version and it did the job fine for my requirements (cutting loft boards for an entire weekend).

I hope this proves useful for some of you.

Generally wouldn't associate a circular saw with stealth but whatever floats your boat I guess

I purchased both from B&Q couple weeks back, they only stock 230v the circular saw is £49.99 and Mitre is less at £99.98

Really pleased with the mitre saved me loads of time already building some partition walls.

The circular saw you talk of does not appear to exist. The Mitre saw does and is indeed £10 cheaper at BnQ! So well done, hard to get stock for that though in my area.

Yes couldn't find the circular saw online. Had an end display of both stealth products together in both Romford and Lakeside B&Qs at one point they marked up circular saw to £69.99 with offer save an additional £20 when purchased with the mitre at £99.98 then it was back to £49.99! I searched about a bit and found these both to be very good value and do everything I need.

I've heard that these are excellent aswell, I'd love to use one & find out what makes them different to any other saw, I've got a cheap circular saw bought years ago from Argos & to me it does the job aswell as I can imagine any saw would.

A stealth saw? I knew there was something missing from Sam Fisher's load out in the last splinter cell game

It may not allow you to sneak up on a zombie due to the sound, but at least you may not be spotted from accross the street in such an apocolypse as opposed to the bright orange Evolution Rage range. :o)

I checked the difference between this Stealth circular saw and the Rage from what specs I could see listed. Assuming screwfix has the specs listed correctly, the Stealth one is ever so slightly shorter in length and over 1kg lighter. Otherwise they look extremely similar if not the same. In fact, the latest batches of Rage may even be the same anyway.

In response to the above about cheap saws doing the same as expensive ones... well... it's the little things. Some of the cheaper ones won't have as much torque or speed, may not feel as solid, may not be as easy to setup depth and angle, etc. The stealth and rage both have soft start which is basically a more gentle startup so as not to jerk the saw too much and lose your place/measurement and/or cause an accident or damage to the work piece if you slip. This also has an electronic brake, which is kind of the same thing but when you turn it off/stop the saw - which also stops the saw quicker rather than to keep spinning for ages. The Stealth has a vacuum mount point for ejection of the (very considerable) dust it is capable of chucking out. Only thing is, it doesn't come with a case. The old supplied Rage's, used to come with one but even these don't seem to now.

It's good at £99.99, but at £49.99 is better than anything around.
