Ok yes its ex display and has been refurbished and it's not as cheap as it was recently but there are currently no ebay codes live.

That being said this is the cheapest Vega 56 you can get from a reputable store.

1080p or 1440p gaming it doesnt matter the Vega 56 is brilliant.

My V56 runs BF5 at 1440p ultra at constant 70fps for reference.

Absolutely.... but the idea is to rate the deal... and its a good deal, …Absolutely.... but the idea is to rate the deal... and its a good deal, regardless how much you or anyone else has previously spent.

What a load of nonsense. Price history absolutely matters, especially with rapidly devaluing tech like a gpu. Besides anything else I believe that £200 deal was from ebuyer on a 20% ebay discount and there's another one of those going live this weekend.

That isn't even the issue with this deal though, the issue is you are paying over £210 for a refurbished/ second hand fairly poor version of the Vega 56. It's just not a great deal, especially when you consider that new gpus have just come out from both Nvidia and AMD meaning price drops for these older models aren't going to be far off.

Its second hand not refurbished.

Refurbished would mean it was sent back to the manufacturer and have new fans/heatsink fitted with fresh thermal paste.,
I bought a new one from them 2 weeks ago for £200

2 weeks ago?... What price are they at now? Seeing as nobody here has a time machine, I'd assume this is a good pric for this present day.

Absolutely.... but the idea is to rate the deal... and its a good deal, regardless how much you or anyone else has previously spent. I once bought a Freddo for 10p but if someone puts a deal up for 20p you know fine well i'm taking that 5p discount and adding heat!

You get what im saying here?

No worries moderator. I'll just keep any relevant info to myself next time.

I’m not sure we will see mass price drops on most GPUs. I would guess they will all just drop out of stock quite quickly. 1060s and 1070s are still pretty much day 1 pricing. RXs have dropped from original MSRP but there is nothing to replace them at the moment, so they may still keep going for a bit.

"Refurbished Item has had replacement parts to make it operational"

What you described would be called "Repaired" not "Refurbished".

Ebuyer apply new thermal paste to gpu chips before selling them as refurbished. Read into it yourself and then go ahead with your assumptions..

A bit harsh there mate, I always like to know the lowest price an item has achieve so I can make my mind up as to whether wait for a better offer/sale or go and buy at the current price.

As we all do! Doesn't mean this wasn't a great deal though? Nvm
