Another £150 in accessories to actually be able to install it in your car no doubt
Good price, shame it's missing Bluetooth though

Depending on your car you'll likely need a fascia adaptor and ISO possibly an ISO harness adaptor. If you need both budget £40 so a little way off £150.....

there was a touch of sarcasm intended in my comment but halfords do well at advertising cheap radios and then when you actually go to get it by the time you have the harness, cage, fascia, wiring loom, DAB ariel etc you can end up paying twice if not more then the actual price of the radio
Bought one of these couple of months ago at this price. Only extra required was dab antenna. Used £4 gps antenna off ebay for this. Great sound and dab reception for the price.

The trick is buy the radio and get the rest elsewhere, I got a harness for my car from amazon on next day delivery for under 12 quid and it was a doddle to fit. I’m too tight to pay ten quid for a surround so have a 5mm gap underneath my stereo.

Would you mind posting a link to the antenna you used please?

The item i bought is no longer available. This one is the same but a pound dearer, as long as its smb connector for Pioneer. rover.ebay.com/rov…577
Just plugged it in with gps antenna still on it. I made one previously using the following instructions for a previous dab installation, worked slightly better just cut the gps antenna and use the cable/plug to make the diy dab antenna. my-gti.com/369…diy

Thank you for the comprehensive reply! It’s still a lot cheaper than the official pioneer antenna, which seems to get some pretty poor reviews. I take it you still had to lead the wire up through the windscreen surround to get good reception?

Currently have the gps antenna in at the back of the glove box, good reception but i am close to the transmitter. The antenna i made in the link was taped behind the plastic A pillar trim and performed better. Also like that your not advertising you have a dab radio fitted like when you have the windscreen type antenna.
