cheers I thought so too! I spend £20 straight away and I want to spend more lol

Brilliant, just spent £14.97
Might not be to everyones taste but I bought :
Green Street 2
Deja Vu
Harold and Kumar 2

I'm also tempted by Hitman, but I know I shouldnt

Has anybody ever ordered ex-rentals from here before ? If so what condition were they in ?

I bought Jumper, Indianna Jones and the crystal skull, Hancock and Fantastic 4 and the Silver Surfer

I don't know about the Blu Rays but I just got 5 of their rental DVDs and they were all in near perfect condition.

Thanks. Never noticed the blu rays. Have ordered 3.

alot of the good ones have gone now, but all come down to what you want still. Doomsday and Death Race has gone off the top off my head just looking.

Too many pages of DVD's, just skip to page 179 for blu-ray

this is the link for me -> blahdvd.com/sec…2=3

I don't know if it's just me but I really don't like owning blus or dvds with 'for rental only' plastered all over them-that said, Be Kind rewind is tempting for a fiver.

Thanks ordered journey to the centre of the earth 3D and Hancock

All three of the Pirates of the Caribbean blurays for £15

The info on the deal is not really correct. Rental copies are not the same as the retail versions, normally stripped of any extras etc, therefore, i'd be amazed if CEX took them.

Many thanks for 'sifting' through and providing the correct link for the blu rays!!!

Sat at work with no debit card in my pocket to buy any :-(

Wish more company's would accept Paypal.

just got 5 dvds thanks:)

Il be honest, most of these blu rays are constantly 5.99 from retailers like play.com. And thats for a brand new sealed copy thats non ex rental.

some are but arent arent. plus its still cheaper so your point is invalid. I felt like being like every other moody person on here. Its cheaper than your 5.99 so

I bought Die Hard 4, Hitman and The Hulk last week when they were £4.99. The discs are not sealed. But they are normal retail copies. It doesn't say rental, it has all the extra featres, everything was mint apart from a small barcode stick on the side. Also they sent me the wrong disc (I got Spiderman 3 instead of Die Hard 4) But they refunded me and let me keep the disc

Nice find

Blu-Rays are much harder to scratch compared to DVDs as well so it'll be hard to get a dud. Heat added.

Well that makes this deal even better then. Thanks for the info.

Instead of looking through them all here is a link just for the blu rays

What is printed on the disc / case hardly effects the quality of the content. Yes, it used to be the case where rental versions had less extras, but you will find most 1 disc titles are identical now, especially on blu ray. Some of the movies don't even have rental mentioned on the disc or case, saves on producing 2 different sets.

You missed my point completely.. the OP referred to being able to sell them to CEX, but with ex Rental copies, i doubt they'd take them.

Of course the quality of the film will be no different.

Apologies, forgot to say I have had ex-rental titles bought and refused by CEX in the past, I suppose it depends on whom is behind the counter

If you want to get really technical I said "Some worth more on trade in at CEX!" I was merely implying its worth and I didnt actually say you should trade them in

There are plenty of ex-rental DVDs and BRs in CEX - usually they are £1-2 less (buy and sell prices) than the retail editions - my local has never refused any BR - even ones the posties have tramped on and cracked. (CEX - my first port of call for seling my natty stuff!). Now, buying from CEX - that's another topic, which is the other side of the sordid coin - avoid. :x
