This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

EXCEED appears to be the budget brand from WORX and this kit would be great as a handy household standby for multiple DIY tasks. Get it with £20 off at the moment making it fantastic value for the specification.

Unlike many lower priced drills this one provides a high 42Nm torque rating and has a 13mm chuck. The 1.5Ah Li-ion battery offers plenty of runtime in a drill. Fast one hour charge. 42 piece accessory kit all fits neatly in the drill's case.

2 year warranty too.

Probably not the kit you'll need if you've won the contract to build HS2 but for most households this will be easily up to the challenge!

These deals from PositecWORX seem to appear and then end suddenly (I've caught a few but also missed some) so I suggest you don't delay if you're interested.

NOTE: This is a full combi hammer drill (not just a drill driver). Title was changed but I've corrected it.

"The XCEED 18V Combi/Hammer Drill is lightweight and compact. Featuring a rechargeable 1.5Ah Lithium-ion battery pack and 23 torque settings this hammer drill can tackle masonry, wood and metal materials with ease.

The soft grip handle enhances comfort throughout repetitive tasks. Features a powerful 18 volt motor, two speed gear box, forward and reverse switch, a 13mm keyless chuck for easy bit change and a belt clip.

All XCEED power tools are built to last and come with a free 2 year assurance.

Technical Specifications:

  • 18V battery power.
  • Two speed gear box.
  • Forward/reverse function.
  • 1 hour charging.
  • 13mm keyless chuck.
  • 23 torque settings.
  • Maximum torque 42Nm.
  • Drilling capacity for wood 35mm, steel 13mm and masonry 13mm.
  • LED light. Soft grip handle.
  • 1.5Ah Li-Ion battery.
  • Charger
  • 42 piece accessory kit Accessories included: x5 Spade bits (10/12/16/20/25mm) x10 25mm bits (SL4 / SL6,T20 / T25, PH1 / PH2 / PH3,PZ1 / PZ2 / PZ3) x10 50mm bits (SL4 / SL6,T20 / T25, PH1 / PH2 / PH3,PZ1 / PZ2 / PZ3) x10 Metal drill bits (1.6,2,2.5,3,3.2,3.6,4.4,4.8,6.35,8mm) x2 Screwdriver bits (flat head/Philips) x1 Magnetic bit holder x1 Adjustable wrench x1 Knife x1 Tape measure x1 Spirit level"

Answer from Positec re additional batteries:

"The Worx batteries will work in this tool but do not charge in the Xceed charger and will therefore require a Worx Charger. Battery's listing options below range from cheapest to most expensive.

ebay.co.uk/itm…734 - 18v - 20v 2amp
ebay.co.uk/itm…260 - 18v - 20v 2amp with indicator

amazon.co.uk/WOR…ger - Charger currently unavailable on eBay but in stock on Amazon for same price.

Bauker 18v batteries will also work with the Xceed combi, which can be purchased at Toolstation and these are charged by the Bauker Fast Charger. Battery's listing options below range from cheapest to most expensive.

toolstation.com/bau…991 - 18v 1.5amp
toolstation.com/bau…530 - 18v 2amp
toolstation.com/bau…777 - 18v 4amp

toolstation.com/bau…154 - Charger!"

So it looks like the Bauker 1.5Ah is the cheapest option at £22.38 but you'll also need a Bauker (or WORX) charger if you don't have one. So a second complete kit is likely to be the cheapest option while this price holds - and you have a 'spare' drill, charger, case and tools! Anyone who has done much DIY will confirm that 2 drills is very handy so you don't have to keep swopping bits (eg drill to screwdriver bit, masonry drill to wood drill, etc.)

Looks a great deal. Is it a relabel brand?
I have several worx tools and they have all been very reliable for heavy DIY use, warranty service is fantastic, and vey comfortable / easy to use.
Can't speak for this budget worx brand but if anything like their standard tools I have found them fantastic.

Comes direct from PositecWORX, supplier of WORX tools. Positec also make tools for other and 'own' brands (including Guild and Aldi's Ferrex); my guess is they are offering a cheaper range to compete with these. The performance spec on this one is up there with good DIY tools and it's backed up with a 2 year warranty. What I don't know is whether the batteries are compatible with WORX and other compatible brands - possible but not proven. Would be great if anyone finds out.

Added: battery compatibility info now added above.

My dilemma too. Had a quick look and it looks liek this may be compatible - ebay.co.uk/itm…R9P Same specs and pictures look almost identical. However at that £20, you're almost better off getting another drill etc.!

Interesting buying two drills haha

Yes - and a good price - but see added info above re charger.
So I just ordered 2
I have now asked Positec whether the EXCEED battery will work in WORX and Bauker tools. This is the answer:

"Generally the Exceed batteries are interchangeable across the Worx and Bauker brands for the products however not for the chargers."

Hope that helps someone.

No. They are now only cheap amateur products. With poor warranties. Don't bother you get what you pay for. Only fit for a 12year old

What are you on about? They've never been 'professional' products but they are excellent DIY tools.. 2 year warranty is pretty good too. What's your issue?
This deal is back on!
could this unscrew car brake caliper / water pump bolts etc..

Very unlikely, in fact no. You'd need a (much more expensive) impact wrench to do that.

Here's the cheapest I found on a quick search (£75) but you may need something twice that price for the tougher jobs:
