Groupon are offering an exclusive event, closed to the public on 11th & 12th December, you can get a tour of the Warner Bro's Studio Tour London with butterbeer, souvenir and special guests for £49! Think they had a similar offer last year which was quite popular! Highly recommend going to this place, it's way more interesting and exciting than you'd expect and has 5 star rating on TripAdvisor.

Worked there for quite a while, brilliant tour even if you're not too interested in the films, just crazy to see how its all done.
December should be when all the festive decorations and promotions are going on which is just great!

Also the closed events are usually a lot quieter, easier to enjoy when its not so busy!

Never watched the films or read the books but I was dragged along last year. Surprisingly it was very good and for fans it must seem like Mecca.

What time is 'after hours' and how long do you get to spend there?

This is probably a really silly question but is it £49 per person?

That's funny, I paid £30 for a ticket and a ButterBeer cost me £6 and I got to keep the cup...

I went earlier this year, its an amazing tour. It's a must do for any harry potter fan.

Is this for one person?

Yes, it's per a person.

Jees £49 per person, won't be taking my girls then .

I went a few months back and it only cost £20 each. Do the prices change throughout the year? Well worth the money to see the sights but the souvenirs are so expensive.

I found the tour extremely dull and boring and I am a potter fan. Its in Watford, not London btw unless there is another one in London for which I apologise. The reason I didn't like it was because there was very little interactive displays, just props, more props and more props. There were some excellent things, particularly towards the end which I won't spoil, but ultimately I found it disappointing. I won't give a hot or cold because I know some people will enjoy it and others won't, just giving my two cents worth.

I wouldn't bother with the butterbeer, it's nasty!

The faqs suggests it takes about 3.5 hours...

They estimate 3.5 hours, but took me just under three hours and that included stopping for lunch! Just depends how long you want to look at things I suppose.

Shame they don't name drop the special guests, I don't wanna pay an extra £20 to see crabbe and goyle.

It says "meet the animal actors"

That's an even worse cop out than having "extras" as the special guests. At least you can prove an extra was actually an extra, whereas an animal could have been randomly plucked from Oblivion.

Pretty sure I read about the owl used for Hedwig dying a few years back, so if they're trying to pass off an owl as Hedwig it's fake.

you could always ask for his autograph to be sure.....

There was a groupon event last night which was very good, highly recommended and i dont even really like the potter series.
You pay a bit extra but get the programme free (£10) also got free butterbeer (yuk) a free hotdog and a free beer (other drinks inc wine availible)
Most enjoyable, and easy access as its just off the M25

I keep wanting to go, but can't help thinking I would find it boring, just sounds like props and stuff.

Maybe they took him to a taxidermist.
