i hate british gas but am stuck with them for the moment after their 'mobile energy' division shut down (gave me a free £200 hive system)

I signed up for this to get the £50 amazon voucher and ability to change suppliers anytime.

dont forget Topcashback or Quidco if you are a new customer.

No exit fees if you switch supplier

Fixed prices until 30th June 2016.

£15 Dual Fuel discount.

Even with their fixed price, one of the most expensive suppliers currently. Switched to Eon who are a fair bit cheaper.

Definitely look around before committing to British Gas. As said they're usually more expensive overall. Went with eon myself also

and there are plenty cheaper than eon, the big six are getting a hammering from the smaller players

Check out iChoser, a group placer for electricity & gas.

Placed me with eon in April , a reduction of about £400 from EDF. Exit fee only £5 per fuel.

Latest round of quotes a further reduction of £70 with British Gas.

Seems a useful service

PM me and I can get a link.

We switched to First oe whatever the name is in Dec, the the other month they set their new prices and put their standing fee up by something like 1000% just so they could say they reduced their energy price by 5%. Disgusting people. Anyone know how long you have to wait before switching again ?

There is generally a fee, sometimes £30 per fuel if you move provider. That's why I thought the deal from iChoser was good. Check with your provider what they charge.

Takes a month for the Amazon voucher
bit of a no brainer really

good deal if youre stuck with british gas and cant or dont do direct debit.i took the fixed price till feb next year which works out more than the £50 voucher but they've took that deal off now

British Gas saved me £420 per year!! Far cheaper than other big suppliers- was with EON- qualified for this voucher

search YouTube for British Gas' illegal court activity, warrants and forcing entry to peoples homes.

I recently got £30 from quidco to change to Eon via uSwitch. £300 estimated saving on my annual bill too.

Put the transfer to GBenergy! Haha

Just to let people know. I signed up to fix and reward June and received the £50 amazon voucher. I have now changed onto fix and reward September and will receive another £50 amazon voucher. Same terms and conditions although the gas charges are slightly lower. Hope it helps someone.

I wish I knew about the June one but will wait till I get my voucher for the September one and my warm home discount in March , then will definitely leave I reckon as they are so expensive!!

Hi can anyone please help me is economy energy any good? Many thanks
