Just recieved a flyer from virgin, I think this deal is for existing customers only. This deal gets you the Nokia 5800 for free and the contract includes a number of goodies;
unlimited web access
unlimited texts
unlimited virgin to virgin calls
150 minutes
25 free tracks at the nokia music store
8gb memory card
and the first 2 months free
for £18 + £4 for delivery. This is a 18 month contract but I think this is a brilliant deal. I've taken this offer as its effectively £16 a month! (18x18=£324 with 2 months free 18x16=£288 £288/18=£16). This isnt some offer that was a result of bargaining with the sales rep, It is an offer available nationwide and a great bargain if you've been looking for a new contract.

Ok, here's how this is working.

1) The offer is available to anyone who has Virgin Media products, whether they are on Virgin Mobile or not.

2) Data and texts are capped like every other network do (1gb for internet and 3000 texts and 1000 virgin minutes)

3) Offer can be done in a Virgin Media store so can save on postage, although you will need to bring your Virgin Media account number

4) Full 28 day customer satisfaction guarantee on everything we sell, so if you have poor signal you can bring back and cancel in 28 days

5) The 2 months free is also available on other tariffs, £18, £22 and £25 per month (i think)

-RT1981

The offer expires on 31st December 2009 and it seems like its by phone only now.

I disagree! The phone is excellent. By far the best phone I've ever owned. The Sat Nav on it is better than my stand-alone one!

I got this phone on the £18 p/m deal from Virgin in June. Managed also to get £83 quidco (£53+£30)
I was very sceptical about it before going for it - and did so on price alone in the end.

All I can say is that it has been brilliant! no problems - camera is surprisingly good for 3.2mp , love the sat nav (I have put Garmin on it) it even runs my laptop thanks to the unlimited data deal I got with the phone . I must admit though have only done this a few times due to unlimited meaning 1gb due to their fair usage policy.

Touch screen is great!

Can't understand why some people don't like it.

I love the phone, when its working. Mine is constantly crashing and turns off when its moved suddenly (even dropping into a soft pocket). It's already been repaired twice for this same problem and it keeps coming back (admittedly because Vodafone are as completely incompetant and think re-installing the firmware = fixing the phone).

how about orange 18m for £20p/m and £150 quidco?

....but no internet

it's for existing virgin customers only..

Don't forget Quidco @ £30 maybe even more!

I looked through the £18 deals with 150 mins unlimited texts net etc and I couldn't find the 5800 available on this deal. I did find It further down the page under £22. I was logged into my customer account when I did this. Maybe they have moved it or i'm looking in the wrong place...

Got it deliverd today £107 including £10 topup for PAG from T mobile promotion last week .

try ringing them, they'll probably offer it on the phone.

If I wanted to PAC my number to Virgin do I need to do it at the time of order or can it be done later.

ye it normally takes a couple days to transfer anyway, i got my pac code today and when i rang them, they said it would transfer on the 16th.

Pretty good phone

Even if £16, its only 150mins per month, and it isn't actually unlimited text and internet as it is a Virgin deal!! -whom are notorious for capping and mis-selling products.

It's a neutral offer to me, NOT a deal, a deal would be 300mins or more like the other networks

I have this on this deal. Phone is nice... the camera is dreadful... flash never works correctly... I cant connect to the internet inside the house! Virgin is rubbish... phone is nice apart from the camera but the sat nav says I live two streets away...

Thinking of cancelling to be honest.

well good for you but what if people dont want to go through a cashback scheme and what if they dont want a blackberry? And what if its a good deal for that phone in particular? My point is, just because the deal isnt for you it doesnt make it a bad deal in general...

i would take this offer, but i already have a contract with virgin mobile, it would cost me too much to get out of it.......unless there is a way????

ive had this phone for about a year, i agree the camera is rubbish, otherwise its a great phone. Dump the nokia sat nav and get amaze gps (google it) for free, its much better.

I have this phone and i need someone who owns one to give me some help every so often it makes a bong noise but there is no text or anything that makes it do this and for the life of me i don't know why if i leave it on at night it makes this noise and its very loud I've turned on and off everything i can think of and it still does it.

Erm, try turning your phone off at night?

Never understand why people leave them on all night unless they're a brain or heart surgeon.

Unexpired thanks for reporting
