Not much of a barrier is it?!
four quid delivery though

avoid!. They look good, but don't tend to last long. the stitches tend to open up.
Work only few minutes for me and start leaking
Had one of these for 4 years. Luck of the draw i guess.
I've had two, looked identical to this but bought from two different places. They were useless to be honest, both started leaking very quickly from different places. The heads didn't last long either before they started leaking. It's a nice idea but poorly executed, I'd never buy another.
I bought this same one from Eurocarparts last year using THIS HotUKDeals post (£5.53 delivered)
I use it for washing my motorcycle and it still works as well now as nearly a year ago when I bought it - no leaks.
Its not particularly rugged, but perfect for what I use it for.

Every little helps
Mine lasted about a week then burst.
Avoid ...
I've had two of these expanding hoses from different sources in recent years. Neither one lasted more than a year before springing leaks all over the shop. Good idea but very poor products in my experience.

Bought one of these useless don't bother keeps leaking
You have to remember that these are expanding, and wont withstand rapid pressure changes, if you have a good water pressure then you only need to turn the tap on half otherwise they will soon leak, extruded rubber is always full of weak points, the outer skin is just there to hold the rubber in but when the rubber is at full stretch it becomes like sandpaper and wears it down fast, thats why these hosepipes become useless after a short time. And the fact a lot of them are cheap crap too
I do not know about this brand but I have used them before and find them useful especially if space is limited.
33640079-2BD0Q.jpgLidl is selling this from today, I don't know if it's any better though.
Leaky. Avoid.
As good as they are, they will break. Have had 4 and every single one has popped within the first year. I didn’t overuse it either, just cheap material.
£7.45 for 50ft delivered on fleabay. Great while they last (which isn't very long), but at this price I just buy a new one each year.
£6.99 on e-bay.

I have mine for over a year....still going strong

These are crap, really low water pressure/ flow rate. Bought previously and returned. Complete waste of time !
I had this product and like others have said, it broke within a week.

You can get a slightly more expenisve one on Amazon that I have had for a year now and is still going strong.
Mine leaks at the pipe connections and nozzle.....lightweight and easy to use marred by above.
Have one like this now entering it's third summer, guess I was one of the lucky few!
these are shit
Great idea but yes, it's a case of when not if it goes. Unless you have very low water pressure or can get buy with a tap half on. I prolonged mine by snipping the ends and resealing and cutting out a section but really life is too short!

Easy to fix perhaps. I did mine, just unscrew it, cut the bad piece of rubber, and put it all back together. If it’s the same problem it was really easy, I was afraid to touch it before as I’m not good with this stuff, all went smoothly and I’m going to use it again after two years already.
I really love it, it’s so light and pleasant to use compared with any other types in my tiny garden. So personally I would recommend it.
Welcome to HUKD. Great first post appropriately heated...
Don't get it, trust me...
