Hi
Thanks for posting. I have added an image to your post.
This is a link, made by rayman, which explains how to add images in great detail. It’s worth taking a look at if you are going to post more deals in future : - hotukdeals.com/ite…hr/
Kind regards

Fast, but I guess most of us are hoping for more storage at around this price now...

I doubt the hard drive could saturate USB2 bandwidth, and most PC's will not have USB3 anyway.

dont think they normally able to saturate theoretical bandwidth but think actual is maxed out around 30ish MB/s which is lower than even slow drives internally.
fact most pcs dont have it yet is basically irrelevant as doesn't change its actual value only personal value.
possibly not that great a deal though based on comparisons with 500gb portable usb3 at under 50 the other day.
obviously not the same but usually you get alot bigger cheaper vs portables.

If you don't mind the Aldi way of shopping this is not a bad price for a USB3 1000Gb external, of course you can pay £20 less for a USB2 version but in a years time USB2 will be old hat and USB3 will be prevalent.

You mean that old fashioned thing where you get it and pay money for it and walk out of the shop with it in you hand?

How's it different to any other way of shopping in a physical shop?
