Protect your head while you're cycling with this superbly designed helmet. Featuring a Turntyte adjustable fitting system, it has 19 vents, six of which are at the rear for improved comfort. The front vents have a mesh and bug netting - to keep those flying nasties out, while an Airflow peak cuts down resistance.

I bought one of these from "Go Outdoors" a few days ago for £10 (£10 with one of their discount cards, £15 without). I think it is a very good, well designed helmet and a steal at this sort of price. For £7.49 I think I'll get another one as (another) spare.

I've got a big bonce (61cm) so I went for the large size. It fits me very well and is comfortable (unlike a lot of the more expensive helmets I've tried). I do a lot of cycling so a good, comfortable fit is very important to me. Last time I was in the market to buy one (about a year ago) I tried on loads before finally settling on a Met (for about £40). I'd definitely recommend you try on the different sizes before making a choice.

I suppose something is better than nothing, but would spend a little more, got me a met flux, its been good to me.

Yeah, I know what you mean but I looked at this Canyon Sierra very closely before I bought one a few days ago and I think the quality of the construction is as good as most of the other similar (but far more expensive) helmets. And it is CE marked (EN 1078): something else I checked before buying. In the event of an accident I honestly think it would offer as much protection as other helmets of a similar design (but, often, far higher price).

These are not the best to be honest

I don't know if it was this model but I'm pretty sure a Canyon helmet was a Which? best buy a few years back. These cheap big helmets often offer more protection than the expensive lightweight ones (which is what a helmet's for right?) but you do tend to get quite a sweaty bonce.

damn thats cheap. HOT HOT HOT !!

heat added great deal:)

Any good reason to think it would be better or are you just a brand snob?

Sainsburys braehead Glasgow scanned through the check out at £3.24

how to relate size to S, M , L??

HOT

I got one of these a few weeks back from go outdoors for £9.99, I was after a MET or Bell, but couldn't find one that fitted quite right. The Canyon, fitted really well and is really comfortable.

The build seems similar to a Bell or Met , the only difference I could see if that the very outer layer (the coloured shiney bit) is a few mm off the polystyrene so pushes in if you press on it whereas the more expensive ones seemed to be a surface direct on the polystyrene.

All in all I've been really impressed with it

just been to Sainsbury Farnborough and these scanned at full price £14-99, so it must be a local deal, oh well.....

showing out of stock on website so I can't 'click and collect' either even though they are in stock at above store!

CANYONERO!

Well thats what all the other MTBers sing when they see someone wearing them. They are good enough helmets, but they look hoooooge when they are on your head.

I personally wouldn't care what other people think .. helmet is there to protect your head if you have the misfortune to fall off.

Would much rather wear one of these than nothing at all or the stupid cloth-style caps some riders wear.

That's just sad
