EXPIRED - Dell Dimension E520 - without monitor

First post so be gentle.

I've been waiting for the right deal that suits me for while. I reckon this without the monitor plus the HP monitor that's in another thread works out a bargain (I'll put a link to the monitor thread in a bit).
Please correct me if I'm wrong. I intend to order it shortly and have a go at the £80 discount voucher.

Often means that Dell have decided the offer was too good and they've pulled it or are 'adjusting' the price/spec. Keep an eye on it, it may come back at the same price but no guarantee.

The system matteegee mentions is a variation on this one for £548.99 which is the same except for 160GB HDD not 320GB and Dell keyboard + mouse not the Logitech set.

If you upgrade to the Logitech keyboard + mouse set, and upgrade to the 320GB HDD you get to the £645.34 price.

Personally I wouldn't pay the £70.50 upgrade charge to go from 160GB to 320GB! If you need more space, buy a 2nd HDD drive for less elsewhere and add it. Good example is the 400GB HDD for £64.49 mentioned here ]http//ww…ATA

Note: You will need to get an additonal SATA cable to add a 2nd drive. Not 100% sure but I think the E520's use SATA cables with a right angle at the drive end such as this one ]http//cg…tem

Nice one Khemical. That's the kind of advice I was after.

Certainly makes a lot more sense to add stuff after the purchase when you put it like that.

Cheers
