Looks like a good deal. I have been thinking about getting a tv tuner for my lapt for a long time now. I have a few questions though.

1. Will it work on Vista?
2. Is it compatible with freeview to get the 30+ channels available on that
3. Will it work in other countries like the USA?

deathtrap3000 i have one of these and it picks up the freeview channels in your area, you could find a cheaper one on ebay for about £15

Just a warning that in many areas, to get a half decent picture, you will currently need a much bigger aerial than the one supplied with it.

I bought something similar, remember some of these are NOT Vista supported

cheaper here... ebuyer.com/pro…327

i have one of the above and the digital picture quality is brilliant...i have my digital rooftop aerial plugged into mine...which is paramount as the mini aerial supplied is rather pathetic.

sorry...i use xp not vista by the way.

driver updates for vista available here freecom.com/ecs…164

I've got one, and although it'll work with Vista, it's not fully Media Centre compatible. Depending on where you live you'll find that you can't view certain channels. Its a driver problem (to do with channel frequency offsets) which Freecom don't seem likely to fix any time soon. It works OK using 3rd party software though.
