Hey this is a reply to another bonzai tree shown - ikea have much better ones than aldi - better under plates height and general condition. They are selling them now for £2.95 in part of their 'plant deal'

Planted in a 15cm ceramic dish with underplate

No more at my local store

I'm proud to admit that any plant i have grows like a triffid.......but i have had 3 bonsai trees and they are all in tree heaven..... i just find em really hard to look after. Water em too much they die, don't water em enough they die, feed them etc., same story. Temperature needs to be constant and out of sun. Hope that has not put ya off! :santa:

ikea.com/gb/…sai

doesn't appear to be on the website, and im not going 30km out to ikea to find they've run out of stock :whistling:

Great deal, gutted I went for the £11 deal two days ago now.

Keeping bonsai's outside is the best way of caring for them, don't listen to them when they say its an indoor plant, trees live outside!

Now thats a bargain! Wish there was an IKEA in Scunthorpe. DAMN IT!

Depends on what tree it is...some are of Mediterranean origin and so require warmer weather although as long as it's kept in a shed next to a window or in a cold frame it would probably be all right:thumbsup:

Thanks for that guys!!

ahhhhh, wax-on, wax-off. The good 'ol days

why is this expired??

Tree died

It isn't expired - although the title states that it is.

Voted hot

somwone remove the expired tag from the title!

Personally I would never buy another plant from Ikea as they always die off. I bought these bonsai's a number of years ago (for £9.99) and within the week they were dead despite storing and feeding correctly, took them back and got little sense from customer services. So be careful!
